    Chris Sutton

Former Blackburn striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Please keep off the pitch' sign before the Carabao Cup Semi Final

Only a few weeks ago Fulham pretty much dismantled Arsenal and beat them.

Which Fulham turns up this evening?

Everyone thought with Mo Salah being out how were Liverpool going to cope?

They have coped pretty well so far.

At the weekend it was an impressive win against an in-form Bournemouth for Liverpool, but I think it will be a close one tonight with Liverpool just sneaking it!

  3. BreakingRobertson on the bench

And the team news has just dropped with Andy Robertson named on the bench. Conor Bradley instead starts again at full-back.

    Full team news up shortly.

  4. Robertson set for return

    Fulham v Liverpool (20:00 GMT, agg 1-2)

    .

We'll have team news coming shortly and it will be interesting to see what involvement Andy Robertson has.

The full-back has been out for 13 weeks after suffering a shoulder injury while playing for Scotland that required surgery.

"The medical team said it's a coaching decision, so he's in," said Liverpool assistant manager Pep Lijnders.

"That's now 13 weeks after surgery so he got clearance to train fully with the team, so that's really, really cool.

"He's only trained once so he's pushing himself in the squad, which is nice because he's one of our captains."

  5. Will penalties be needed?

    Fulham v Liverpool (20:00 GMT, agg 1-2)

If Fulham can level the score on aggregate tonight then the game will go to 30 minutes of extra time.

If neither side can find a winner after that then the tie will go to a penalty shoot-out.

  6. Will Fulham turn it around?

    Fulham v Liverpool (20:00 GMT, agg 1-2)

    .

Fulham have never reached the EFL Cup final before and are aiming to become the 37th team to do so.

Statistics are not on their side, however, with only 25% of teams to lose the first leg of a semi-final tie having then reached the final.

Fulham are also winless in their last five home games against Liverpool since a 1-0 victory in December 2011.

  7. Post update

    Fulham v Liverpool (20:00 GMT, agg 1-2)

    .

    Good evening!

Yes we've got more EFL Cup semi-final action tonight as we find out who will face Chelsea in the final.

Liverpool won the first leg 2-1 but games between these two sides are often closely-fought affairs and if Fulham can get an early goal in front of their own fans then it is game on.

  8. Dare to dream

Liverpool have been here many times before. Indeed, they are looking to reach the EFL Cup final for a record-extending 14th time, and win it for a 10th time.

But for Fulham, they are on the verge of making history. They have never before progressed beyond this stage of this cup.

They are behind in the tie, but they are at home.

So will it be familiar face Liverpool who progress to Wembley? Or will Fulham turn things around to take a step into the unknown?
