I don't see why there is such a witch hunt for Moyes. Team are sitting 10th in a league whereby anybody can beat anybody on their day. He doesn't have the transfer funds available like other clubs. Delivered them their first piece of silverware in years last season. Slight display of entitlement from West Ham fans.

Jarrod Bowen is West Ham's top scorer this season with 11 goals in 24 Premier League games.

But he hasn't scored since Christmas.

"Everyone’s upset with the way things have gone recently," he said.

"We all know that we have to stand up and confront these tough spells, because it’s down to us to change it.

"It’s been difficult, but football comes with its good and bad moments, and we just have to work our way through it.

"I’ve looked at myself as well - I had a little niggle in January, but I’m back to it now and it’s up to me as an attacking player to help us win games.

"I believe in the quality of this squad, and I know that when we’re at our best we can go on unbeaten runs."

Brentford are exploring new investment in the club.

The Bees were in League One when owner Matthew Benham took over in 2012.

It is thought that Brentford have employed bankers Rothschild to analyse the current situation and explore new investment interest that could lead to a full or partial sale.

Manager Thomas Frank said: "I knew [about] that. In detail, I don't know too much about it. Ultimately, it's up to Matthew to make a decision.

"What I can say is he's been fantastic for us and if there's one person the fans should support and be very grateful about, it's Matthew."

Sat in the London Stadium, the Bees record against West Ham continues especially after Everton had their points deduction reduced. We have our players back from the AFCON so finally able to have strength on the bench! Come on you Bees!

West Ham winger Mohammed Kudus: "The ultimate goal is to find a way to win the game, especially in front of our own fans. The boys will be ready for it and we will push everyone to make sure we get the three points.

"Football is a game of ups and downs, but that’s the nature of the game and you can’t always have it all your own way. The most important thing is to keep your head down and keep doing what you’ve been working on in training.

"We’re going through a difficult spell but everyone is trying. We are not giving up - we are still trying to make it happen, taking players on and creating chances. That’s the most important thing for me - as long as you’re trying to change the situation then it will improve."

I am expecting another strong performance for Frank Onyeka, he was exceptional against Manchester City and for the Nigeria at the just concluded AFCON.

Brentford boss Thomas Frank doesn't think this is the most pressure he's been under since promotion to the Premier League.

The Bees are only two places and five points above the relegation zone.

"I think it's a constant pressure, if you can call it that," said Frank.

"We have ambitions to want to do better. Even last year, when we had a fantastic season, we pushed to see if we could get as high as possible.

"Every single time you lose a game, it's tough. You need to be positive, analyse it calmly, and keep sticking to your principles and what you believe. I’m positive and optimistic. I've said many times, it's difficult to run as fast as possible if you're looking behind every minute."

Both of these teams badly need a win. Brentford actually played really well in their narrow defeat by Manchester City on Tuesday, and I have a sneaky feeling they will get something here.

The atmosphere, mood and everything surrounding West Ham boss David Moyes definitely won't help his team here, and I think it will actually work against the Hammers.

I really feel for Moyes with what is going on at the moment, and it is definitely affecting his side's home form because they are low on confidence.

I hope Moyes wins, and I hope the supporters get behind him, but I don't see either happening on Monday.

He has over-achieved, but it feels like the tide has turned and more fans are against him now. It's a little like what happened to Roy Hodgson at Crystal Palace, and we saw how that ended up.

    Sutton's prediction: 1-2

West Ham have yet to win a game in 2024, equalling their longest winless streak from the beginning of a calendar year - eight games in 1922 and 1997.

They can go nine matches without a victory for the first time since March to August 2011, a run which saw them relegated from the Premier League.

Brentford boss Thomas Frank says he doesn't understand why West Ham counterpart David Moyes is under pressure.

"I don't really get it," the Dane said.

"I think under Moyes they have been finishing fifth and sixth, or sixth and seventh, unbelievable.

"They won a European trophy last year. Every team has a spell throughout the season when they're not perfect, maybe they're going through their spell now."

West Ham manager David Moyes says he has been offered a new contract but says he is "happy to wait until" the end of the season to decide on his future.

Moyes is under pressure from fans after a poor run of form.

"There's a contract there for me and I'm the one deciding I want to wait until the end of the season," the Scot said.

"There are plenty of reasons [to wait]. I've got to make sure it's the right thing for the club, for me and my family.

"I've spoken to the board. I've had a fabulous four years. We'll sort it out but I'm happy to wait."
