Euro 2024 play-off: Wales 4-1 Finland - reaction as Wales reach final

1. Winners beat Finland 4-1 to reach the Euro 2024 qualification play-off final
2. David Brooks puts Wales ahead after two minutes, turning in a rebound after Harry Wilson's initial shot
3. Neco Williams' free-kick doubled Wales' lead, but Teemu Pukki pulled one back before half-time for Finland
4. Brennan Johnson restores Wales' two-goal lead less than two minutes into second half
5. Dan James takes advantage of huge mistake to race clear and scores Wales' fourth to seal their place in the final
6. Poland will visit the Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday night, with the winner reaching the 2024 European Championships

SUBSTITUTIONS

Finland need a big, big effort now, so unsurprisingly, they are sending on their superhero, Oliver Antman.

Kaan Kairinen, (presumably the wasp, I haven't seen the film), is also on, with Robin Lod and Rasmus Schuller off.

Brennan Johnson is also replaced by Dan James for Wales.

I led with Antman, of course.

Desperation is creeping in for Finland.

There is a sizeable contingent of Finnish fans in the Cardiff City Stadium and they are doing their best to rouse their side.

A couple of corners amount to nothing for the visitors, it looks a tough task for them now.

You'd have backed the Fulham man to find the target.

He's also been booked for a late challenge.

Wales have shown clearly tonight why Tuesday will be so close to call if it is Wales v Poland.

Robert Page's side have the ability to score against anyone, but defensively they worry you.

Poland now lead 10-man Estonia 2-0, as Piotr Zielinski scores their second.

It's looking like Wales v Poland in Cardiff on Tuesday.

It looks like Greece will be playing Georgia for a place at Euro 2024 in Tbilisi on Tuesday.

Georgia beat Luxembourg 2-0 earlier on and Greece lead Kazakhstan 4-0 at half-time with four different goalscorers.

In the other section of the play-offs, Iceland have come from 1-0 down to lead Israel 2-1 in Hungary while Bosnia-Herzegovina and Ukraine are level at 0-0.
