  1. goal

GOAL! Motherwell 2-1 Alloa Athleticpublished at 16:16 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January

    Georgie Gent

Fir Park breathes a huge sigh of relief...

Georgie Gent beats his man, gets into the box, and drills it into the corner past PJ Morrison. Is that the upset avoided?

  2. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:16 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January

    Forfar Athletic 0-0 Hibernian

Forfar realy, really should have scored by now.

It's Seb Ross on his bike again, scurrying in behind the Hibs defence. David Marshall gets down low and turns it behind for a corner.

The League 2 side might rue all these missed chances.

  3. Miller returns for Wellpublished at 16:14 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January

    Motherwell 1-1 Alloa Athletic

Here's a change for Motherwell that should provide a boost - 17-year-old Lennon Miller is on for Motherwell.

He's replaced Bevis Mugabi in an attacking change.

  4. CLOSE!published at 16:11 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January

    Forfar Athletic 0-0 Hibernian

On a plate for Christian Doidge.

First time Hibs really cut Forfar open nearly results in goal. Jimmy Jeggo releases Elie Youan, who does well to cut the ball across the face.

Doidge just can't make contact as Hibs' frustration grows.

  5. goal

GOAL! Airdrieonians 1-0 St Johnstonepublished at 16:11 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January

    Nikolay Todorov

Nikolay Todorov strikes from close range to give the hosts the lead against the top-flight visitors.

    Stuart Bannigan

An absolute wonder goal from Stuart Bannigan has Thistle cruising in Dingwall.

    We've seen this film before...

  7. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:08 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January

    Motherwell 1-1 Alloa Athletic

Quinn Coulson forces Liam Kelly into a fine save! Motherwell are under pressure.

This would be a huge upset if Alloa can somehow win this, despite the Well's league woes.

  8. goal

GOAL! Greenock Morton 2-0 Montrosepublished at 16:08 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January

    George Oakley

Championship Morton look good for the last 16 after adding a second.

  10. Anyone’s game!published at 16:03 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January

    HT: Livingston 1-1 Raith Rovers

    Kenny Crawford
    BBC Sport Scotland at Almondvale

This is poised nicely going into the second half.

When Jack Hamilton scored that opener for Raith Rovers, and Livi missed their penalty, you feared for Davie Martindale’s men.

But, to their credit, and a fine strike by Jamie Brandon, the hosts are back in it.

  11. Three County changespublished at 16:03 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January

    Ross County 0-2 Partick Thistle

    Tyrone Smith
BBC Scotland at Global Energy Stadium

Unsurprisingly Derek Adams has rung the changes at the break, making no fewer than THREE changes.

James Brown, Jay Henderson and Jordan White have been brought on as the Staggies attempt to scale what's now looking like being a real Scottish Cup mountain.

  12. Postpublished at 16:01 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January

HT: Ross County 0-2 Partick Thistle

Despite the scoreline it's been relatively even between the two sides in Dingwall - Thistle's finishing the only real difference between the two in an end to end first half.

Derek Adams described the play-off game at the Global Energy Stadium last season as 'a basketball game' and this has been in much the same vein.

Yan Dhanda started to control the midfield for County, and Victor Loturi missed a flashed cross in front of the Thistle goal, before Brian Graham fired home from an Aiden Fitzpatrick cross eight minutes from half time.

Then into stoppage time Scott Robinson pushed home a too-short penalty box clearance to give the Jags a 2-0 lead going into the break.

    HT: Livingston 1-1 Raith Rovers

A goal apiece at the Tony Macaroni Arena.

Jack Hamilton netted against his former side to put the visitors ahead within five minutes and it appeared to be going the Raith Rovers' way when Andrew Shinnie's spot kick smacked off the post.

Not demoralised by the penalty miss, Livingston kept pushing and equalised through Jamie Brandon after the wing-back burst forward to lash in the equaliser.

  14. Postpublished at 15:57 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January

    HT: Motherwell 1-1 Alloa Athletic

Despite Motherwell's bright start and general dominance, they go in level with Alloa.

Blair Spittal gave the hosts the lead after 90 seconds when his shot came off the bar and crossed the line, but they were pegged back through Alloa's only attack of the afternoon.

Conor Sammon received the ball out on the right and cut inside Calum Butcher, sending the ball past Liam Kelly and into the bottom corner.

    HT: Kilmarnock 2-0 Dundee

Two goals inside the first two minutes from Kyle Vassell and Marley Watkins have Derek McInnes' side in firm control at Rugby Park.

Dundee have had the better of the chances since then and will be rueing their slow start.

  17. Postpublished at 15:52 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January

    HT: Forfar Athletic 0-0 Hibernian

No goals, but plenty of action in Angus.

Forfar have had the best of the chances, seeing effort after effort blocked by a ragged Hibs defence.

The visitors failed to take the lead from the spot as Joe Newell's penalty was saved by Marc McCallum. That away support is full of frustration.

  18. Postpublished at 15:49 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January

    Livingston 1-1 Raith Rovers

Losing count of how many knocks there has been at the Tony Macaroni this afternoon.

Just moments after Kyle Turner stayed down for a while after an apparent elbow to the face from Michael Nottingham, it's now Livingston forward Kurtis Guthrie receiving treatment after taking a sore one.

Both teams clearly battling hard in an attempt to get ahead before the break. Neither showing any real quality since the equaliser to make that happen, however.

  20. Brandon brilliance!published at 15:48 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January

    Livingston 1-1 Raith Rovers

    Kenny Crawford
    BBC Sport Scotland at Almondvale

Jamie Brandon’s chosen a good time to score his first ever Livi goal.

He’s been at the club since the summer of 2022 but that brilliant, blasted finish might have kept his side in the cup.
