There we have it - Rangers v Partick Thistle in the SWPL Cup semi-final.

Will the Gers manage to reclaim the cup or will there be a new team lifting the trophy?

Partick Thistle manager Brian Graham tells BBC Alba: "First and foremost it is all about the players.

"Every year since I have been involved with them they have made history. I knew we were going to win today, I had that feeling.

"It is a fantastic achievement. as a coach, you need a good changing room and I have got that.

"We saw the Partick Thistle fight in them today. The crowd were excellent and I think the girls really enjoyed it.

"On a day like this it is about rolling up your sleeves and digging in for your teammates. We have got talent in the dressing room but we knew given the weather it was not gong to be a football match."

When asked about the date for the final, when the Partick Thistle men's side are playing Arbroath away, Graham said: "They have got to change it.

"We play on a Sunday all the time. It is just not possible for us to play on Saturday at 3pm. There is no way I am missing the chance to get to lead my girls out at a cup final."

Partick Thistle's Linzi Taylor tells BBC Alba: "It is massive [the win].

"We knew coming in if we were going to get to the final it was going to make history and I think that was a driving factor for us.

"The goalkeeper was unlucky not to get it [her rree kick] but I will take the goal.

"We are buzzing, it is a massive occasion. It is not just us, it is for the fans as well."

Partick Thistle will be joining Rangers in the SWPL Cup final in March!

It was a tough afternoon for Grant Scott's Hibs side and matters were made worse with Leah Eddie's sending off in the first half.

Goals from Linzi Taylor and Rosie Slater booked Thistle's place in the final.

Amy Bulloch is the next to make way for Thistle and she's replaced by Rosie McQuillan.

Nina Wilson is called into action as Poppy Lawton's shot is fired at the Hibs goalkeeper. She does well to get down and push it away.

Jorian Baucom almost gets Hibs back into the game. The on running Abbie Ferguson leaves the ball from Baucom who attempts to float the ball over Megan Cunningham but it smacks off the crossbar.

Just over ten minutes left of the 90. If there is to be some late drama it'll have to happen soon...

Rachel Donaldson has gone down off the pitch. Both teams playing with ten for the moment.

A double change for Hibs in an effort to salvage something from this game.

Eilidh Adams and Tegan Bowie are the pair coming on, Naomi Powell and Michaela McAlonie come off.

Amy Bulloch's free-kick finds Demi Taylor at the back post - she tries to volley it goalwards but gets it all wrong and skies it over the bar.

Shona Cowan and Imogen Longcake are coming on for Thistle.

Clare Docherty and Kodie Hay are the two who make way.

Abbie Ferguson picks up the ball after a Partick attack and attempts to drive up the pitch but she's stopped in her tracks by Rosie Slater.

Clare Docherty's pass finds Cara Henderson in the Hibs box but she just takes too long before attempting to get the shot away.

They do win a corner but can't make anything of it.

Partick Thistle are 45 minutes away from that first final, do Hibs have what it takes to turn this game around?

Hibs' Rosie Livingstone tells BBC Alba: "It is difficult to put that first half into words.

"It is difficult in these conditions to get a foothold in the game but hopefully in the second half we can turn things around.

"I have got a small back problem but hopefully it is not going to be too long until I'm back on the pitch."

I think if Hibs are going to continue to try and build and possess the ball, they need to make better decisions and try and play the ball quicker.

Grant Scott will no doubt be relieved to hear the half-time whistle go, with his side reduced to 10 after Leah Eddie's sending off.

The visitors had a decent start to proceedings but Thistle certainly grew into the game.

A penalty shout was dismissed by the referee before Linzi Taylor managed to convert a free-kick just outside the Hibs box to give her side the lead.

Still all to play for in the second half mind you, but Hibs have given themselves an awful lot to do.
