    Kilmarnock 0-0 Hibernian

Hibs have recovered well from Kilmarnock's early attack. They're knocking it about.

Dylan Vente had a half chance from 20 yards out, but the forward flashes his drive just wide.

    Goalkeeper Kieran O'Hara was scrambling.

    Kheredine Idessane
BBC Scotland at the Tony Macaroni Arena

Decent start here at the Tony Macaroni from the Livi Lions, with Michael Nottingham nearly heading them into an early lead.

They've only scored one goal in their last six home games and haven't won a game of football in the league since early October, when they put two past Motherwell.

  3. Postpublished at 15:12 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

    Heart of Midlothian 0-0 Aberdeen

Aberdeen have looked lively on the break.

Dante Polvara crosses for fellow midfielder Leighton Clarkson, who steps on to the ball and lashes it towards the target.

Defender Frankie Kent stands in the way to block though.

  4. Postpublished at 15:11 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

    St Johnstone 1-0 Motherwell

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Scotland at McDiarmid Park

After what happened in midweek, VAR and St Johnstone are friends again.

Motherwell, I suspect, will not be happy with that Saints opener standing.

  6. Postpublished at 15:08 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Hibernian

And we're off! There's a big boo from the crowd as the fans are told over the tannoy that the VAR issue has been resolved.

Meanwhile, David Watson lasers a half-volley wide. Early Killie chance.

  7. Postpublished at 15:07 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

    Heart of Midlothian 0-0 Aberdeen

    Big chance for Aberdeen.

The visitors spring a counter and a cross is swung to the back post, but midfielder Leighton Clarkson stoops to head the ball and gets it all wrong.

We haven't quite kicked off at Rugby Park. There's no pictures coming through to the pitchside VAR screen.

Grant Irvine is across, looking concerned. There's a man on the phone in a high-vis vest looking very worried.

GOAL St Johnstone 1-0 Motherwellpublished at 15:05 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

    Ryan McGowan

    Another quick start...

Ryan McGowan is quickest to react after some chaos in the box at a corner, and scuffs it home. And after a lengthy check by VAR the goal is given.

GOAL Celtic 1-0 Ross Countypublished at 15:02 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

    Alistair Johnston

    What a start!

Liel Abada's shot at the back post is blocked out to Alistair Johnston and the Canadian right-back lets fly from the edge of the box.

It takes a huge deflection, wrong-foots George Wickens and rolls slowly over the line to give Celtic the lead.

There's a VAR check for offside against Abada, but he's ruled to be on and the goal stands.

  12. Rodgers expects better of Bernabeipublished at 14:58 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

    Celtic v Ross County (15:00)

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers tells BBC Scotland he is delighted to secure centre-half Cameron Carter-Vickers' to a new contract:

"He's committed the best years of his career to the club, which is great news," he says.

As for Alexandro Bernabei, who replaces the injured Greg Taylor at left-back, Rodgers admits he "hasn't had his best time here, that's the brutal honesty of it".

"I asked him to play like what I've seen in training - he's aggressive, he's quick, and he has qualities," he adds. "Hopefully he can show his best form and he gives us balance being left-footed."

  13. Montgomery injury 'really significant'published at 14:56 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

Motherwell manager Stuart Kettlewell says it looks like new signing Adam Montgomery, the on-loan Celtic left-back, has picked up "a really significant" hamstring injury, adding it is "a massive blow".

  14. Montgomery opens up on new signingspublished at 14:55 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

    Kilmarnock v Hibernian (15:00)

Nick Montgomery tells BBC Scotland about Hibs' new signings - midfielders Nathan Moriah-Welsh, who replaces Jimmy Jeggo, and Danish attacker Emiliano Marcondes.

"I wasn't going to hold Jimmy [Jeggo] back from going back to Australia for family reasons," the head coach says. "I've been looking at Nathan for a while. We've got a good relationship with Bournemouth - that's nothing to do with the partnership which is still ongoing.

"Emilianois a top player. He wants to get his career back on track and the only way to get him fit is to get him playing games. We saw his quality on Wednesday night.

"The new boys, it'll take them a few weeks to get them up to speed, but I'm looking forward to seeing them out there."

  15. Stats heavily favour Celticpublished at 14:54 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

    Celtic v Ross County (15:00)

Celtic are seeking a sixth consecutive victory, County are without a win in five. The Dingwall side have lost 10 in a row against today's hosts since beating Celtic in Dingwall 1-0 in February 2021.

They have also lost five in a row at Celtic Park since a shock League Cup win in November 2020.

Such is the task facing Derek Adams' rebuilt side.

  16. Naismith keen to maintain formpublished at 14:53 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

Heart of Midlothian v Aberdeen (15:00)

Hearts manager Steven Naismith is playing down the opportunity to increase the gap with one of his side's challengers for third place.

"It's important because it's the next game," he tells BBC Scotland. "That's the way we approach it.

"The challenge for us is we went into the break in good form - so can we stay at that level?

"As you've seen from the performances, it's tough. The games since we've come back haven't been the best quality, but the important thing is we won them.

"Being at home - we saw the contrast during the week - you want the fans behind you and to make a good atmosphere and that comes from how we start the game."

  18. Stewart suspension surprise to McInnespublished at 14:49 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

    Kilmarnock v Hibernian (15:00)

Kilmarnock manager Derek McInnes tells BBC Scotland: "It's a team we haven't beaten this year, so that's a challenge right away. They have a lot of talented individuals so we have to give the best version of ourselves.

"It's important to continue our home form and we still have a lot of work to do. As well as we've done so far this season, we need to continue the good work."

On new signing Greg Stewart's absence, he adds: "Greg got sent off with his last club. We thought he was okay to play in the Cup, but maybe a one-game suspension in the league.

"We got word late in the day that it was today. It's disappointing for us and Greg."

  20. Robson calm amid pressurepublished at 14:45 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

Heart of Midlothian v Aberdeen (15:00)

Aberdeen manager Barry Robson is not letting continued talk about his future get to him as his side face a game crucial to his side's chances of catching third-top hosts Hearts.

"Pressure? It's been there my whole life and that's what we live for and enjoy," he tells BBC Scotland.

"All I want is to play some good football and win for the fans and everyone connected with the club.

"The staff work so hard - and the players. We've been really busy first half of the season. We earned the job, got into the group stages in Europe and went on a long cup run.

"Obviously we've got to try to perform better in the league. We need to make sure we start winning games and catching up with the games in hand."

Robson says they are still awaiting the results of a scan on Slobodan Rubezic, who hurt his knee against St Johnstone.
