DR Congo shout for a penalty, for handball presumably. Not given.

They are coming forward at any opportunity now.

Guinea are on the back foot after taking the lead and they are going to have to keep composed because DR Congo are really going to come for it.

  3. Postpublished at 25 mins

    DR Congo 0-1 Guinea

No immediate response from DR Congo to that goal. They'll be wishing they'd scored one of their early chances.

  4. 'Bayo kept his nerve'published at 20:22 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February

He kept his nerve there. It is a long wait.

It's controversial and Bayo has had to keep calm there and it was a lot of pressure.

He deserves a lot of credit. He was so calm under pressure. He kept his nerve.

  7. 'I'm surprised by that decision'published at 20:19 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February

    DR Congo 0-0 Guinea

    Gabriel Zakuani
Former DR Congo international on BBC Three

I am very surprised with that one. I thought Chancel Mbemba was shepherding it our and putting his body in the way, like a good defender would.

Nothing is really standing out and it looks soft to me.

  8. Postpublished at 19 mins

    DR Congo 0-0 Guinea

The referee puts the ball on the spot so VAR must not be interfering. Was that a fair shoulder barge? DR Congo certainly think so.

  9. PENALTY TO GUINEApublished at 17 mins

    DR Congo 0-0 Guinea

Chancel Mbemba barges Mohamed Bayo over in the box and the referee points to the spot.

    Huge chance for Guinea here.

DR Congo have won Afcon twice before, back when they were called Zaire, in 1968 and 1974.

Guinea have never won it, finishing as runners-up in 1976.

    DR Congo 0-0 Guinea

Former DR Congo international on BBC Three

Again, he will be scratching his head. There is so much space in that box.

Moutoussamy has a lot of time there. He could have taken a touch. They blocked it but he could easily have punished Guinea there.

Theo Bongonda drags a shot well wide from long range for DR Congo. They have had most of the opportunities so far.

Guinea's Morgan Guilavogui catches Charles Pickel. He's given a warning by the ref but no card for now.

    DR Congo 0-0 Guinea

    Gabriel Zakuani
Former DR Congo international on BBC Three

Both sides always have this rivalry where you respect each other. We have had some big games in the past but not as much as this.

This tournament has thrown up a lot of shocks and both teams will back themselves to go all the way. Hopefully we keep the entertainment up.

  18. 'DR Congo should be in front'published at 20:05 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February

    DR Congo 0-0 Guinea

    Gabriel Zakuani
Former DR Congo international on BBC Three

I think Wissa will probably be a bit upset with himself there. It bounced nicely but it was a bit of confusion in the box.

You can see that the goalkeeper is not happy. You have to take responsibility there as a defender.

He has his pocket picked by Wissa and he should score. DR Congo should be in front.

  19. Postpublished at 4 mins

    DR Congo 0-0 Guinea

Big opportunity for DR Congo as Yoane Wissa pokes a shot wide. Guinea get in a total mess about who's dealing with a throw-in and it lands to Wissa in space, who should finish.

Keeper Ibrahim Kone is furious with his defenders.

  20. 'That would have been harsh'published at 20:03 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February

    Gabriel Zakuani
Former DR Congo international on BBC Three

Chancel Mbemba comes across and tries to head it and he doesn't really know much about it.

    It would be harsh.
