Things haven't started well for bottom side Carlisle. Sullay Kaikai has given Cambridge the lead up in Cumbria.

Not much to shout out about elsewhere right now...

    Tranmere 0-0 Stockport

Little to report so far at Prenton Park, where both Tranmere and Stockport are looking to bounce back from midweek defeats.

League leaders County haven't had too many blanks in front of goal lately, though - and Rovers' home game against Morecambe the other night involved five of them, so plenty of cause for optimism!

    Bolton 0-0 Charlton

You may be wondering what's happening at Bolton.

    The answer? Nothing much.

Double delight for Doncaster at Blundell Park! Early goals by Luke Molyneaux and Joe Ironside have put Grant McCann's side in control against fellow strugglers Grimsby.

MK Dons have also hit two inside the first 10 minutes. Stephen Wearne has got both of them and there is alright daylight between MK and Swindon.

For both Wrexham and Notts County, this was their tie of last season… and it ended up being a defining result here at the Racecourse.

Who remembers that Ben Foster penalty save that pretty much secured the National League for the Dragons?

It feels like that the fixture doesn't carry the same same prestige this time around… but fans are looking forward to watching two good footballing teams go head to head.

Plenty of goals and drama in this fixture last season - what will we get today?

Notts County have the first sniff of goal at the Racecourse Ground as Dan Crowley picks out Macaulay Langstaff, whose header is kept out by Wrexham keeper Arthur Okonkwo.

It seems like nearly two thirds of the League Two table are still harbouring hopes of promotion come May, with just eight points separating Notts County in seventh and Swindon in 17th.

At the very top of the tree though it's Crewe chasing the top two hardest, having moved into the automatic promotion spots in midweek with a 3-1 win at leaders Stockport. Top of the form table, Lee Bell's side face Harrogate today, who will want to have moved on from their 9-2 loss at Mansfield on Tuesday as quickly as possible.

Gillingham may have the worst attack in the division, but that hasn't stopped them making a move for the play-offs. Level on points with Notts County and Harrogate, they could leapfrog them both with a win over Newport - second in the form table - in Wales.

Next in the queue are Wimbledon. Both the Dons and opponents Morecambe could also end the day inside the top seven.

Barrow's form on the other hand has taken a turn in recent weeks, and their push for the top three is starting to fade. No easy task today either, as they travel to Salford - still unbeaten under new boss Karl Robinson.

Sixth-placed MK Dons would prefer to look up than down, and could move ahead of Barrow if they can see of Swindon at the County Ground. Robins interim manager Gavin Gunning is unbeaten in four, though.

At the other end of proceedings, Forest Green will look to make it back-to-back wins after their first victory in 16 last time out away at Crawley. Rock bottom Sutton have won just four games all season, but one of those was against today's opposition Bradford.

There should be goals at Grimsby, as they host Doncaster. Blundell Park has seen the net bulge 24 times in its last four matches. Both of those sides are still looking nervously over their shoulder for the time being, so maybe they will both throw caution to the wind this afternoon.

Danny Cowley's unbeaten start to life as Colchester boss ended in the week, but he'll look to get back to winning ways at home to Accrington, another side who will fancy themselves for that final play-off spot.

Everywhere you look in League Two, there's a storyline to grab your attention. Love it!

Got your breath back yet, Mansfield fans?

After Tuesday’s avalanche of goals at Field Mill, when the Stags equalled their all-time record victory by hammering Harrogate 9-2, Nigel Clough’s men are now peering right over the shoulders of Stockport.

They go in search of a fourth straight win this afternoon at the Bescot Stadium, which – should County drop points at Tranmere – will be enough to propel Mansfield above them into top spot.

Opponents Walsall have not tasted victory in their last five games, although they had gone three months undefeated on home turf until Newport triumphed 3-0 there last weekend.

The Saddlers led at Crawley in midweek through Isaac Hutchinson’s first-half penalty, but ultimately had to settle for a 1-1 draw.
