  1. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:07 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February

    Liverpool 0-0 Southampton

How are Southampton not ahead at Anfield?

James McConnell is guilty of being too casual on the ball and Southampton are able to snap in and win it back.

Sekou Mara is through on goal with plenty of space around him but Caoimhín Kelleher is able to get down and tip his effort round the post.

  2. HITS THE WOODWORK - Southamptonpublished at 20:06 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February

    Liverpool 0-0 Southampton

Harvey Elliott is caught in possession and Southampton are able to work the ball out to Kamaldeen Sulemana, who has acres of space on the left.

He tries to curl in the far corner but it clips off the base of the post.

Mike Bell: My wife, watching idly from the sofa, has just pointed out that United are playing in white and red, and Forest are playing in red and white, which is she says "bonkers". And I concur.

You can’t tell me that in the entire United set up, there isn’t a single fit striker? Play someone from the under 21's or under 18's? Surely it's better than playing someone out of form and out of position!

  5. Postpublished at 20:05 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February

    Chelsea 1-1 Leeds

    Big chance!

Leeds fail to clear and Noni Madueke is able to pick up the loose ball and break through the visitors' defence.

He takes an early left-footed effort but it crashes into the side netting.

Erik ten Hag surprised a few people in his pre-match press conference yesterday when he said Brazilian winger Antony is one of the fastest players he knows.

It hasn't been in evidence that often since Antony joined United for £82m in 2022.

In fact, it was such a shock Ten Hag was asked to clarify and the Dutchman was adamant he was right.

"I know the stats, maybe," he said. "He's not showing it."

Let's see if he shows it tonight.

  7. 'Got to hit the target'published at 20:04 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Manchester United

    Alan Shearer
Former England and Newcastle striker on BBC One

Another chance! United are moving the ball really well, one and two touch and Marcus Rashford just couldn't keep it down. You've got to hit the target! That's three really good opportunities they have had already.

Sékou Mara is about three yards offside, he has gone miles early - not even close to being onside.

It looks like Liverpool have lined up with Conor Bradley at right-back and Joe Gomez in midfield by the way. Harvey Elliott is then playing high on the right wing.

That is all a bit of change from when Gomez came off the bench in Sunday's Carabao Cup final and Bradley went to right wing with Elliott dropping deeper.

  11. Postpublished at 20:03 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February

    Nottm Forest 0-0 Man Utd

Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford slashes a shot over the bar from about 16 yards.

At the other end, Taiwo Awoniyi hammers in a shot which Andre Onana saves.

  12. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:02 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February

    Wolves 1-0 Brighton

Brighton's Ansu Fati lunges in on Jean-Ricner Bellegarde and gets a yellow card.

  13. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 20:02 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February

    Liverpool 0-0 Southampton

The visitors have the ball in the net but it's ruled out for offside.

Sekou Mara gets in behind the Liverpool defence and nicely tucks home but he's gone too early with his run.

No need for VAR with that one.

It's the sort of run a defender doesn't want from Taiwo Awoniyi - in behind. He's at it and looks a threat for Forest.

  15. Postpublished at 20:01 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February

    Nottm Forest 0-0 Man Utd

Forest striker Taiwo Awoniyi has a shot from a tight angle, blocked by Victor Lindelof.

He tries a follow-up attempt, also blocked by the Swede.

It is a corner which United eventually clear.

A bit bored of this narrative that Manchester United should always be in the mix for every trophy every season. They've had 2 formidable periods in their history under Busby and Ferguson. To suggest they should always be competing for every trophy is disrespectful to other big clubs. I love an "upset" because it proves football is not the monopoly it should never become. C'mon Forest!

  18. Chelsea need to be 'patient'published at 19:59 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February

    Chelsea 1-1 Leeds

    Glenn Murray
Former Brighton striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

It is all about patience for Chelsea and whether they can break down a deep low block from Leeds.

We have seen it once with a slick passing move - can they do it again?

  19. GREAT SAVE!published at 19:59 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February

    Chelsea 1-1 Leeds

It's all Chelsea at the moment.

A cross from the right is headed out to Mykhailo Mudryk.

The Ukraine international skips past a tackle and drills towards goal but Illan Meslier is down well to save with his foot at the near post.

The resulting corner is sliced over the bar by Noni Madueke from outside the area.

Brighton go close to a chance as about three players are inches from meeting Pascal Gross' corner.

Ansu Fati claims he's fouled in the six-yard box but he gets nothing.
