  1. Postpublished at 21:01 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Bournemouth 0-0 Leicester

Marcus Tavernier is straight into the action as he feeds through Milos Kerkez, whose decent effort is batted away by Jakub Stolarczyk. Looks like Kerkez may have been just offside, however.

  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:00 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Bournemouth 0-0 Leicester

Bournemouth make a double change as the prospect of extra-time starts to loom large.

Dango Ouattara and Marcos Senesi make way for Ryan Christie and Marcus Tavernier. An attack-minded change.

  3. 'Scoring might go against Luton'published at 20:58 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    HT: Luton 1-3 Man City

    Michael Appleton
Ex-Blackpool manager on BBC Radio 5 Live

I think scoring the goal so late might actually go against Luton. That bit of confidence might free them up a bit, give them a chance to flood bodies forward and get back into the game. That will suit Man City.

  4. Postpublished at 20:57 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    HT: Luton 1-3 Man City

Erling Haaland didn't arrive at Manchester City until June 2022.

He's just scored his EIGHTH hat-trick for the club - and first away from the Etihad.

  5. Postpublished at 20:57 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Bournemouth 0-0 Leicester

Philip Billing again has a pop from distance with Jakub Stolarczyk out of position after a poor clearance, but Billing's effort is off target.

  6. Postpublished at 20:55 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Bournemouth 0-0 Leicester

Bournemouth get a bit of a lucky break as what appeared to be a foul is missed by the officials and Antoine Semenyo is sent through on goal. Leicester get players back quickly and when Semenyo eventually shoots the effort is blocked.

  7. Postpublished at 20:54 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    HT: Luton 1-3 Man City

An Erling Haaland hat-trick, a hat-trick of assists from Kevin de Bruyne, a worldie by Jordan Clark, another injury to Jack Grealish...an action-packed FA Cup tie at Kenilworth Road.

  8. 'Eustace has set Blackburn up well'published at 20:53 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    HT: Blackburn 0-0 Newcastle

    Micah Richards
Former England defender on BBC One

I think Blackburn's shape has been brilliant and once it gets into an area, you go and engage.

This is what they have been doing on the training ground thinking about keeping the spaces nice and tight. The manager deserves huge credit.

  9. 'Newcastle need to move it quicker'published at 20:53 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    HT: Blackburn 0-0 Newcastle

    Micah Richards
Former England defender on BBC One

It is difficult. It looks like they have lost some confidence a little bit, in the movements.

I think they need to pass the ball quicker in that second half.

  10. Blackburn have created the better chancespublished at 20:53 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Blackburn 0-0 Newcastle

    Michael Emons
    BBC Sport at Ewood Park

Blackburn, 16th in the Championship, have been the better side and have caused Newcastle a host of problems.

Sammie Szmodics, the Championship's top goalscorer, could have had a first-half hat-trick, but shot just into the side netting, had another well saved by Martin Dubravka and was just unable to get a touch on the rebound after Dubravka had done excellently to save an effort from Tyrhys Dolan.

Sean Longstaff has seen a shot saved at the near post by Aynsley Pears at the other end in one of Newcastle's best chances.

You'd expect the Premier League side to come out and do better after the break, but it's all set-up nicely and you certainly wouldn't bet against extra time.

Disagree with the negativity about NUFC from Shearer on the telly. We'll definitely be in the next round. Class will show in the 2nd half.

  12. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:51 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Bournemouth 0-0 Leicester

Leicester make a double change as Tom Cannon and Marc Albrighton are replaced by Kelechi Iheanacho and Abdul Fatawu.

There's just under 30 minutes of normal time to go. Will we get a winner inside 90 minutes or will extra time be needed?

  13. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:50 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Luton 1-3 Man City

    Luton 1-3 Erling Haaland.

  14. Postpublished at 20:49 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Luton 1-3 Man City

You can be sure Pep Guardiola will be furious his side have conceded at the end of a near-perfect first 45 minutes. Jordan Clark will remember that moment for the rest of his life.

  15. 'Blackburn will be absolutely delighted'published at 20:49 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    HT: Blackburn 0-0 Newcastle

    Stephen Warnock
Former England and Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Blackburn have arguably had two of the clearer chances. They've done well, they've been organised. You accept that Newcastle will have more of the ball but you don't let them play through you. The three centre-backs have been outstanding, they've covered each other.

Newcastle know they're in a game and Blackburn will be absolutely delighted with their team performance at half-time.

No one is stopping that one from Clark. Best goal of game, so far.

  17. 'Newcastle have been poor'published at 20:49 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    HT: Blackburn 0-0 Newcastle

    Alan Shearer
Former Newcastle and Blackburn striker on BBC One

I think Newcastle have been poor, have been slow and offered hardly anything in the final third.

Having said that, Blackburn have been very organised and energetic and have created the better of the chances.

Newcastle need to get it wide and move it more, and faster.

Scrappy first half. No real desire from our players. Rovers want it more- no wonder we haven't won a trophy in my lifetime.

  19. 'Save Dubravka should make'published at 20:48 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Blackburn 0-0 Newcastle

    Stephen Warnock
Former England and Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Szmodics is quick and direct [for chance before half-time], he gets played in down the left-hand channel, drives at Schar in a one-on-one, gets a strike away and it's a smart save from Dubravka - one that he should make though.

"Toon army" can be as lousy as they want, their team are struggling to beat a 16th placed championship side.
