Raheem Sterling makes up for that missed chance to set up Cole Palmer. That eases some of the tension that had been creeping in. A clear lead for Chelsea heading into half time.

    Cole Palmer (45+1 min)

With their very next attack Chelsea do get that crucial second!

It's great play by Raheem Sterling to be fair who races clear down the left and fires in a low cross for Cole Palmer who buries a shot in at the near post.

    Palmer is having some season!

    When it's not your day...

Raheem Sterling is sent through one-on-one, this might be even easier than the penalty...

But no! Sterling dinks the ball wide with just the keeper to beat. Again Chelsea miss a chance to go 2-0 up.

The thing you notice watching Chelsea is how many odd decisions the players make during a game.

    Ron

Sterling has to be one of the most overrated players of his generation. Clearly a much better footballer than me, but nowhere near as good as people make out.

    Rob

Sanchez should be sold over Summer. That’s twice he’s flapped at easy crosses against Championship. Petrovic for number one.

Leicester continue to build as Abdul Fatawu peels off his marker, although his cross is straight at Robert Sanchez.

Actually, I take that back. Sterling hit the target. Lautaro Martinez spooned one over the bar in the Champions League.

Leicester continue to play some decent football but they lack any real control.

Chelsea are really good at slowing the game down, denying their opponents any momentum.

Dewsbury-Hall looks exactly the type of player Chelsea could do with in their midfield. Massive influence on every game I've seen him in this season. Sterling and Sanchez lowering their values second by second so far.

There's a lot of sting in that shot. He could have released it earlier, but I don't mind that Mudryk, but it needs a bit of end product, find the corners.

Mykhailo Mudryk looks so good as a number 10. Almost like a young Eden Hazard.

Leicester's defenders back off the midfielder so he says "why not" and has a pop, stinging the gloves of Jakub Stolarczyk.

Robert Sanchez is not filling the supporters with confidence. That's a couple of crosses he has come for and not got near now.

Chelsea keeper Robert Sánchez is having a shocker but he's somehow clinging on to a clean sheet.

He comes for Leicester's corner, doesn't get anywhere near it, but thankfully for him Wout Faes heads just wide.

Sanchez fell awkwardly as he landed and is now getting some treatment.
