    Airdrieonians 1-4 Hearts

    Neil McCann
Former Hearts winger on BBC One Scotland

I thought he was just offside. But, nonetheless, is there a better finisher in Scottish football right now?

That is absolutely sublime. Cool as you like, son.

    Game, set, match.

Scott Fraser slips Lawrence Shankland in behind and he just lifts a gorgeous wee finish over the keeper.

Never any doubt. A fantastic footballer.

    Airdrieonians 1-3 Hearts

    That's a sore one.

Calem Nieuwenhof catches his man just above the ankle and the referee doesn't even award a foul.

With VAR in use, I reckon they're having a good look at that.

A tame second half in comparison to the first. Hearts look fairly comfortable.

Things can change quickly, of course, with Airdrie still getting up the field at times.

If it continues like this, Morton will have a big week in early March as they host Championship leaders Dundee United at Cappielow on the Tuesday before welcoming Hearts the following weekend.

    Airdrieonians 1-3 Hearts

Airdrie have limited Hearts pretty well since they last scored, only issue is they had scored three by then.

That's only half the battle as well, they need to find a goal soon to make a real game of this.

    Approaching minute 70.

    Comical stuff.

Jorge Grant winds up a long-ranger, only to completely fresh air it then hit the deck.

He wants a foul. Wouldn't blame the ref is he just laughed.

    Airdrieonians 1-3 Hearts

    How's he missed the target?

Lawrence Shankland highlights again why he's so much more than a goalscorer, holding the ball up before backheeling to Alan Forrest.

The winger smashes over the bar from close range though.

  13. Postpublished at 18:15 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

Airdrie remain really patient in their approach.

There will come a time they need to start forcing it.

We're not even an hour in yet though.
