    Hearts 1-0 Motherwell

Kenneth Vargas rattles the far post, a mid-air swipe after a well delivered ball from the right by Alan Forrest.

Hearts' goal seems to have given them a fresh impetus after being on the back foot for much of the second half.

    Celtic 1-0 Kilmarnock

    Kheredine Idessane
    BBC Scotland at Celtic Park

Kilmarnock have been right at it in this second half, and have just enjoyed their best spell.

A cracking Joe Hart save from Liam Donnelly's point-blank header has kept Celtic ahead.

The wind has really gone out of the home side's sails in this second period, with Yang, Bernabei, Kuhn and Bernardo all now on and hoping to help get the second goal.

  5. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:28 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2024

    Celtic 1-0 Kilmarnock

Joe Hart denies Liam Donnelly for a second time with a fine save.

Danny Armstrong sends an inswinging free-kick into the Celtic penalty box and, when the midfielder rises above the home defence, the former England goalkeeper has to beat away the powerful header over the crossbar to keep the hosts ahead.

  6. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 16:27 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2024

    Aberdeen 2-1 Hibernian

Joe Newell does brilliantly down the left after Jordan Obita clips a through ball forward to his captain.

Newell gets to the bye-line and finds Emiliano Marcondes, who powers his finish in from close range.

Newell and Obita are both possibly offside. It's tight, I tell ya.

  7. goal

GOAL! Dundee 2-0 Ross Countypublished at 16:26 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2024

    Scott Tiffoney

    What a finish!

Scott Tiffoney has his second, and that's a massive goal in the context of this game.

The Dundee man picks up possession on the edge of the box and drills low past George Wickens.

It's harsh on Ross County, who have played well in this second half, but Tiffoney's clinical touch might have put this game beyond them.

    Livingston 1-0 St Mirren

    Martin Dowden
BBC Sport Scotland at Tony Macaroni Arena

St Mirren are probing here, desperate to get back on level terms and you can just sense Livingston dropping ever deeper trying to protect this vital lead.

It's absolutely crucial that they hang on to this and put pressure on Ross County above them.

  11. Postpublished at 16:23 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2024

    Celtic 1-0 Kilmarnock

Celtic are so nearly gifted a second goal by a moment of hesitation inside the Kilmarnock penalty box.

Goalkeeper Will Dennis and one of his defenders leave the ball to one another as Daizen Maeda lurks behind them, but the Japan midfielder is unable to take advantage before it's cleared.

  12. Postpublished at 16:22 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2024

    Livingston 1-0 St Mirren

Despite being on the back foot for much of this second half so far, Livingston look to try and create something.

Tete Yengi looks like he's about to break away but is closed down by about four St Mirren players as he tries to race through on goal.

Livingston eventually get the ball into the St Mirren box but the visitors defend it well.

  17. County's bright start to halfpublished at 16:18 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2024

    Dundee 1-0 Ross County

    Jane Lewis
    BBC Scotland

The visitors have started the second half well, as Yan Dhanda forced Trevor Carson in to making an early save, and they look dangerous when they break forward.

Dundee's defence is being tested but is holding up well... so far.

  18. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 16:16 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2024

    Aberdeen 1-1 Hibernian

Now then, what will VAR David Dickinson make of this?

Nectarios Triantis fails to cut out a ball over the top. The ball bounces between Bojan Miovski and David Marshall, with the goalkeeper trying to punch the ball.

Instead, he swings an unbelievable hook on to Miovski's jaw. We'll see what happens here...

Play on. It's an Aberdeen corner.

  19. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:16 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2024

    Celtic 1-0 Kilmarnock

More intricate passing takes Celtic into the Kilmarnock penalty box.

However, the hosts fail to increase their lead thanks to a fine diving stop from Will Dennis from Matt O'Riley's side-footed drive.

That's the second time the Denmark midfielder has been denied by the Kilmarnock goalkeeper in this game.
