    Partick Thistle 1-3 Dunfermline Athletic

Ewan Otoo takes a sore one from Scott Robinson as the latter catches the Dunfermline defender on the shin with a wild challenge.

The Thistle midfielder is a little lucky to walk away with just a yellow there.

Stuart Bannigan and Kerr McInroy head off the park, with Ricco Diack and Tomi Adeloye on to replace the pair.

A much-needed refresher for an incredibly frustrated Thistle side.

It's the easiest of collections for the goalkeeper as he pulls down a slow, high cross from the left. And, inexplicably, he has just nutmegged himself on landing.

Thankfully for the visitors, and Mehmet himself, Brian Graham was too busy blootering the post in anger at his lack of service to notice.

    Deary me...

Another Dunfermline change as Matty Todd makes way for Blackpool loanee Owen Moffat.

A perfect opportunity to have a watch of the midfielder's terrific finish earlier on then, I guess.

The decisions have gone their way, but they have been better in this second half.

    They've been more dangerous.

But the talking points are there for all to see. It's going to be very difficult for Thistle to pick up all three important points.

    Xavier Benjamin

Oh, it does not get any better for the home side.

Awful marking from Lewis Neilson allows Xavier Benjamin - fresh off the bench - to powerfully turn in from a corner with a fine header.

The Pars are less than 30 minutes away from their first league win in 10 attempts.

For clarification, the officials originally (and seemingly, rightfully) awarded the goal before changing their minds a short while after for that ruled out equaliser.

Absolutely need to see all of that back.

Chants of 'Cheat, Cheat, Cheat' continue to ring round Firhill.

That is two goals Partick Thistle have had chalked off when they really shouldn't have.

They should be winning this game.

  10. Incredible drama with no VAR to clear it up!published at 21:06 Greenwich Mean Time 23 February

    Partick Thistle 1-2 Dunfermline

    Martin Dowden

That's two 'goals' Thistle will feel hugely aggrieved by.

Quite why that was given and then overturned has absolutely baffled this crowd.

    Confusion all around.

If only we had VAR to make it simple....

  11. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 21:03 Greenwich Mean Time 23 February

    Partick Thistle 1-2 Dunfermline Athletic

I'm confused in all honesty. That looked on.

Brian Graham, once again, is at hand in the perfect position to score. This time he flicks in Harry Milne's deflected effort, but referee David Munro has belatedly awarded an offside.

    Bizarre.

What a ball forward by Josh Edwards, btw.

A quick look-up to find his man and it's a fantastic pinged pass over the top to catch out Aaron Muirhead.

    Terrific stuff from the 23-year-old.

  13. goal

GOAL! Partick Thistle 1-2 Dunfermline Athleticpublished at 20:59 Greenwich Mean Time 23 February

    Matty Todd

    Out of nothing!

Who saw that coming from a Thistle corner? No-one. That's who.

The home fans are furious at the lack of an offside call, but Aaron Muirhead certainly does play the attacker onside.

Matty Todd carries the ball forward and cheekily dinks over Ross Stewart to put the Pars in front after getting behind Muirhead with ease.

    Incredible.

Dunfermline are putting on plenty of pressure in an attempt to disrupt Thistle's build-up play to varied success. Both teams still getting forward quickly and looking to keep up the tempo from the first 45.

Not to jinx anything too early - and you can all blame me if I do - but I think we might have another cracking half on our hands here.

    The woodwork to the rescue!

Lewis McCann delivers an excellent curling cross that Matty Todd glances past Ross Stewart, but the ball agonisingly bounces back out off the post.

Great headed effort there from the Pars number 10.

An enforced change you would imagine, that's a big loss there on the right flank for the hosts.

Dunfermline have been struggling, but they do have good players. At some point it is going to click. They have had their moments.

Partick shaded the first half for me and had their chances to extend their lead.

It's been a good game with two goals, but there is no surprise they've come from defensive errors.
