Luton are unbeaten in their past five league meetings with Nottingham Forest (W2, D3), having lost five of the previous six.

Forest's last top-flight visit to Kenilworth Road ended in a 2-1 defeat in April 1992.

    Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo refused to play down the magnitude of their Kenilworth Road clash.

With the club’s profit and sustainability punishment looming the trip to the Hatters takes on extra significance.

"You cannot ignore it. I face reality," said Nuno. "The reality is that this match is huge for us and we know that.

"This is what we are working for, we have 10 finals to go. I think we are ready. The character of the team gives me a lot of confidence."

    Burnley v Brentford (15:00 GMT)

Burnley have only lost one of their past 11 home league games against Brentford (W6, D4).

The Bees won 3-0 when the sides met on 21 October and are vying for their first league double against the Clarets since 1934-35.

Burnley have accumulated seven points this season in three games against fellow newly-promoted sides.

Rob Edwards' side have scored in each of their past 16 Premier League matches.

They have also netted in 13 of their 14 home league fixtures this season, with the exception a 1-0 loss to Tottenham in October.

Luton's tally of 14 headed goals in the top flight this season is the second highest, behind Arsenal's 16.

Carlton Morris has scored in each of his last three home league outings.

  13. 'Refereeing standards have dropped'published at 14:38 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Nick Mashiter
    BBC Sport football news reporter

Nottingham Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo believes refereeing standards have dropped in the Premier League.

He says officials need to work harder to improve and clubs cannot afford the time for new referees to bed in.

Forest have been stung by several decisions they feel have gone against them this season, leading them to appoint former top-flight official Mark Clattenburg as a referee analyst.

"If I have to be honest - before was better," said Nuno.

"We had a very strong group of referees who were very experienced. Then a new generation has come, they need time, but we don't have time.

"We, as professionals of all the clubs, don't have that time. We can't ignore these kind of mistakes, I think, can have big repercussions on everybody's life."

  14. 'Set-pieces has been Achilles heel'published at 14:35 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

Luton Town v Nottingham Forest (15:00 GMT)

    Final Score at Kenilworth Road

There was about an hour when Nottingham Forest were in the bottom three on Wednesday night. If they lose here, they’ll be spending at least a fortnight there.

Keep an eye on set-pieces today, particularly ones that Forest are defending. That’s been their Achilles heel this season, and Luton have used it as a big part of their attacking armoury.

  15. Work to do for Brentfordpublished at 14:32 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Burnley v Brentford (15:00 GMT)

Brentford are not in a comfortable position themselves.

They have won only three of their past 17 Premier League games and are just five points ahead of the drop zone, sat in 15th.

Their problem has mainly been holding onto a lead, with 28 points dropped from winning positions.

Only Sheffield United, bottom of the table, have lost as many games away from home in the league this season too (10).

They lost to Arsenal in their last game but did take the league leaders right to the wire, with Kai Havertz scoring an 86th-minute winner.

  16. Can Burnley avoid defeat again?published at 14:29 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Burnley v Brentford (15:00 GMT)

It's been a difficult few months for Burnley, who sit second bottom of the Premier League table and 10 points off safety.

Vincent Kompany's side are also winless in 10 league fixtures since a 2-0 victory at Fulham on 23 December (D3, L7).

They did get a 2-2 draw with West Ham on Sunday, but they were leading 2-0 before being pegged back.

But that draw means they can avoid defeat in back-to-back Premier League games for the first time this season.

That would be a big boost for them because time is running out to secure their safety.

  17. 'Nuno not a specialist in this position'published at 14:26 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

Luton Town v Nottingham Forest (15:00 GMT)

Nottingham Forest are in a tricky situation that’s for sure.

I think they’re waiting for this charge now and to see if any points will be deducted because it has affected them and it has hung over them.

I thought they would have picked up more results recently but have ended up in a bad run of form, so I think that tells you everything. Yes, you have to consider opponents, but I still think they’ve got it within them to turn around the results.

If you’re looking at it as a straight relegation battle between them and Luton, then I’m going to back Forest.

I think the result of this weekend will lean towards who stays up, but I don’t think it’s season defining.

If Forest were to win it then it would be very damning for Luton, but if Luton were to win it, then I don’t see it as season changing at this moment in time.

There’s 10 games to go but it’s a game Luton can’t afford to lose.

Rob Edwards has managed in adversity, so I feel like he’s capable of doing that and getting results because he digs out the team spirit. He’s been consistent with that all season.

It’s different for Nuno because he’s come in having been in different situations. The pressure is growing, the points deduction is hanging over you too, so I’m not sure he’s fully equipped for this even though he’s clearly a very talented football manager.

    I wouldn’t say he’s a specialist in this position.

BBC Final Score at Turf Moor

The Burnley fans around me seem very happy with the decision today to drop James Trafford and replace him with last season’s number 1 Arijanet Muric.

Many of the supporters have been calling on Vincent Kompany to recall Muric for some time but remarkably it’s his first Premier League appearance today.

Meanwhile, after his England call-up this week, Ivan Toney is aiming to celebrate his birthday today by ending a four- game goal drought.

And like the Brentford fans, he’ll be delighted to see his fellow forward Bryan Mbuemo back in the squad for the first time since December.

James Trafford has been dropped to the bench for this game against Brentford.

Vincent Kompany has just been asked why and he simply said he has "two good goalkeepers" and felt Arijanet Muric "deserved a chance".

  20. 'A huge game for us'published at 14:19 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

Luton Town v Nottingham Forest (15:00 GMT)

    Luton Town

Luton Town boss Rob Edwards on bouncing back from their disappointing defeat by Bournemouth:

"We feel ready to go. There’s no other way but get it out of your system. We have to learn from the bits we got wrong and work on the things we did well.

"I think [the fans] were trying to pick me up! We’ve got special supporters and they’re amazing."

On the game against Forest now being 'a six-pointer': "Yes I think you can say that, but they all are at this point.

"It’s 10 finals and this is the first of those games so of course it’s a huge game for us."
