    Barcelona 1-0 Granada

Barcelona boss Xavi is fuming on the touchline as the referee gives a foul against Andreas Christensen.

The former Chelsea man, who is playing in midfield tonight, had the ball and stuck out an arm to hold off Sergio Ruiz, but catches him in the face.

    Barcelona 1-0 Granada

Appeals for a penalty by Barcelona as Lamine Yamal goes down in the area, but the referee waves it away.

Ignasi Miquel does stick his left leg out but he withdraws it in time and Yamal is looking for the contact in the end.

  3. YELLOW CARDpublished at 36 mins

    Barcelona 1-0 Granada

Granada's Sergio Ruiz is the first player to go into the book for a reckless tackle.

The visitors then want some punishment for Pau Cubarsi for a late tackle but the referee thinks it is just a foul. VAR don't get involved either.

    Barcelona 1-0 Granada

Barcelona are struggling to get Robert Lewandowski into the game.

The Poland striker receives the ball with his back to goal and tries to flick round the defender and runs on it but he gets far too much on the flick and the goalkeeper is able to collect.

He's then dropping extremely deep to try and link up the play.

Lamine Yamal's goal means Barcelona have now scored in their past 18 La Liga home games.

His finish from four yards is still Barcelona's only shot.

    Barcelona 1-0 Granada

    Wasteful from Granada.

Set pieces are always going to be key when you're 19th in the league and travelling away to a side in third.

Their latest from the right is far too deep and goes straight out for a goal kick.

    Barcelona 1-0 Granada

Marc-Andre ter Stegen looks really rusty on his return from three months out with a back injury.

He's already given the ball away three or four times with passes out and now a clearance from his hands is intercepted too.

    Barcelona 1-0 Granada

Granada are playing much better than a side in 19th place. Certainly in an attacking sense anyway.

Myrto Uzuni tries to acrobatically covert a cross from the right, before Oscar Melendo's follow up is well blocked by Jules Kounde.

    Barcelona 1-0 Granada

Granada have failed to win in their past 31 matches when conceding the opening goal in La Liga dating back to 22 December 2021 against Atlético Madrid.

They look to get back on level terms immediately as Faitout Maouassa cuts in from the left but his effort comfortably clears the bar.

    Barcelona 1-0 Granada

Earlier in the season when Lamine Yamal scored against Granada in a 2-2 draw he became the youngest player to score in La Liga history at 16 years and 87 days old.

Granada are clearly a side he likes playing against - both of his goals this season have come against them!

    Lovely goal.

Barcelona have really grown into the game in the last few minutes. Robert Lewandowski was just crowded out after some fantastic play from Pedri and Frenkie de Jong but Barca come again.

It ends up with Joao Cancelo in down the left and he cuts back before dinking a cross to the back post. Lamine Yamal is there waiting and slides in to give Barca the lead.

    Brilliantly worked goal.

Whistles from the home fans as the referee doesn't give a foul for a tackle against Joao Cancelo.

They soon change to oohs and aahs and then applause as Robert Lewandowski slides in at the back post to almost convert Lamine Yamal's cross but the striker just couldn't quite reach it.

    Better from the hosts.

An outrageous flick from Robert Lewandowski sends Ilkay Gundogan through on goal but Augusto Batalla is quickly off his line to smother.

    Good keeping.

    Barcelona 0-0 Granada

It's been quite a scrappy start to the game to be honest. Joao Cancelo drifts in field but then gives the ball away by passing behind Ilkay Gunodgan.

The on-loan Manchester City defender is then caught in possession in his own half too.

Barcelona are still playing at the Olympic Stadium because of improvement work to the Camp Nou.

They've won nine of their 12 league games at home this season, losing the other three. Far from perfect.

Granada, however, have only taken a single point on the road so far this campaign.

    Barcelona 0-0 Granada

Marc-Andre ter Stegen hasn't played any football since 12 November but he's back between the sticks for Barca tonight.

He's a little hesitant with his first touch and he's put under pressure and ends up gifting the ball to Granada.

It's worked to Gerard Gumbau but his long-range shot is blocked.

    We're under way.

Granada have had to make a late change to their team. Faitout Maouassa comes in for Carlos Neva, who felt a little bit of discomfort in the warm up.

Here's how the La Liga table looks after Real Madrid's thrashing of Girona on Saturday.

Have Carlo Ancelotti's side already wrapped up the title? Or is there a twist?

Barcelona's minimum target will be Champions League football but any slip-ups will open the door for Athletic Bilbao.

Meanwhile, Granada are 19th, eight points from safety.

La Liga table: Real Madrid played 24, 61 points; Girona played 24, 56 points; Barcelona played 23, 50 points; Atletico Madrid played 24, 48 points; Athletic Bilbao played 23, 45 points; Real Betis played 24, 38 pointsImage source, BBC Sport/Getty Images

    Evening!

After a potentially title-defining win for Real Madrid over Girona on Saturday, it is time for Barcelona to respond.

Xavi's side may be looking over their shoulder, rather than up though.
