  10. Scotland focused on 'building confidence' - Martinez Losapublished at 12:59 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February

    Philippines v Scotland (13:05)

Speaking before the game, Scotland boss Pedro Martinez Losa told BBC Scotland: "It's about reconnecting, building confidence.

"The competition has been hard on us in many aspects in the last few months but it is also about the players believing.

"Camp from camp, you get the same squad pretty much, but not all the players are the same because they come in different moments of form.

"But we really wanted to create a good atmosphere so the first step when they arrive here is that they are happy, and after that, everything else can come."

Don’t be deceived by the sun, it’s blowing a gale out on the Spanish south-east coast.

So much so, we’re yet to take our seats as the desks are flapping about the place.

Instead, we’re taking in Scotland’s final pre-match preparations before they kick off a massive 2024 against the Philippines.

Might not be much of a ball game with this wind, though. Gonna be some battle to keep the ball under any sort of control…
