Rangers are still on top after coming from behind to win at Kilmarnock. Celtic banged in a magnificent seven and the Edinburgh derby delivered plenty of thrills but no winner.

Aberdeen are getting sucked into a fight to avoid the play-off place, while Livingston look like a lost cause now.

Motherwell boss Stuart Kettlewell tells BBC Scotland: "I think anybody that watched the game sees that we are the better side and deserved to win the game but I'm frustrated at our start.

"I think we were sloppy in our reactions, something that I am huge on. I had a go at our organisation behind the ball when we were going into attack.

"We didn’t fashion enough chances in the first half. I didn’t think the performance was terrible, I just felt that the organisation was.

"Fair play to the players that got a bit of stick at half-time because they showed a brilliant reaction.

"The second half the game starts to settle, we get our creative players into good positions and the final product is the most pleasing aspect.

"A lot of good performances, a lot to like from us but we don’t get carried away from one good performance."

On teenager Lennon Miller...

"We show 100 per cent trust in him, there is absolutely no pressure on him apart from the magnitude of the game but you would have thought he was strolling around in the park in a game with his mates.

"I love to see it, we all talk about trying to make the game better in this country. We are not getting carried away, we are not trying to heap any pressure on him but you have got to call it as you see it and I thought he was outstanding."

I felt that Barry Robson wasn't addressing the problem in his post-match interviews and we've got another one here. Neil Warnock talks in riddles. The fans want to know how he's going to turn it round.

Yes, you can say we're in a relegation battle but you have to add 'this is how we're going to sort it' because they have quality players and they are underperforming.

It's worse now than it was under Barry.

Hibernian boss Nick Montgomery tells BBC Scotland he is feeling "frustration" and anger at tonight's result.

"I'm disappointed for our fans and the players," he adds. "We deserved three points tonight, we didn't get them. We had three or four cleared off the line, one or two we should've scored.

"We had enough chances to win two games. I thought we were outstanding, we played some great football."

On the decision to award Hearts a penalty, Montgomery said: "I asked [the referee] at the end if they called him over because there's something they need him to look at and don't want him to make an error.

"I feel sorry for the fans and the players. We had an apology last week, maybe we'll get another one again. What it wont do is give us another two points back."

Aberdeen interim manager Neil Warnock tells BBC Scotland: "I can understand the fans. I feel sorry for them, actually. They deserve better. The goals we conceded. The chances we had at 1-0, and then we concede a goal like that - a long ball over the top.

"I've never seen goals like this conceded, we have to stop that or we won't win another game. I've got to try and work with what we've got.

"I don't want to hang anybody out to dry. I was disappointed with four or five and really pleased with three or four. Some have to have a look in the mirror. If they think they played alright, they're wrong. Everybody has to lift their performance, stop feeling sorry for themselves and get on with it.

Asked if Aberdeen are in a relegation fight?

"Absolutely. At the moment, you can't see us winning another game. We have to start scoring goals and stop conceding stupid goals.

"We can only work hard, I'm going to work even harder. Football's amazing. When you think things can't go any worse, something crops up."

Both teams had chances, but Hibs had the better ones. I think Hearts dodged one tonight.

Asked about referee Kevin Clancy's trip to the monitor before sticking to his decision to award Hearts' penalty, Steven Naismith explains: "I was quietly confident. I don't think the first one is a foul, but the second one is. It's a split second and whoever gets there first inevitably gets the foul.

Hearts boss Steven Naismith tells BBC Scotland: "It could've gone either way, both sides had chances.

"Like the last derby, that final moment of quality wasn't there. Both teams will think they could've won it. That's the next step for us, in these key moments, in the heat of the battle, to have that calmness.

"When we had control, we looked very dangerous. Both teams were guilty of [slack passing]. At times we made the wrong choices and that made the game end-to-end.

"It was important we showed the weekend's result was a blip and something we could come back from. I think we defended really well, which was pleasing."

On objects being thrown from fans, Naismith adds: "It's not good enough. It's not unacceptable to have a player down injured and getting stuff launched at him. What we'll see is, like other derbies, no fans get in."

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers tells BBC Scotland: "You can see with players starting to return how that connects everything in the team.

"I thought the level of our football for large parts was really good. We created a lot of opportunities and in the second half we kept pushing, we were creative, and seven different goal-scorers is great. Overall, a great performance and result for us.

"I thought Adam Idah was a great reference for the team, Yang was fantastic - great to see, because earlier in the season he had a problem with their young wing-back, but tonight he was very creative.

"The players showed drive and determination, and brilliant for young Daniel Kelly. It's so nice when you get a home-grown player, a young guy who's been here since eight years of age. I really like what he has - he's got good physicality and an incredible attitude.

"Nights like that take me back to when I was first here - the performance, the intensity and everyone enjoying it. We're here to win, but Celtic is about playing football that gets the supporters excited."

Kilmarnock manager Derek McInnes tells BBC Scotland: "We tried to get after Rangers and unsettle them as much as we could. There were times we couldn't do that and we had to give up possession. They didn't play through us, they played a lot of longer balls but we have the pace to deal with that.

"We had the better moments to get the second goal in the first half. We spoke at half-time about not hanging on to a lead for 45 minutes and we started the second half like a train.

"But games like this can be about big moments and, with the players Rangers have, that can win it, it's not the bigger performance.

"I don't think there was much in it, we were good value and that pleases me no end."

Rangers manager Philippe Clement tells BBC Scotland: "It shows our team has a lot of resilience even when things don't go your way. The reaction in the second half was major.

"The team stepped up and showed more.

"This is a really hard place to come. Kilmarnock make things difficult on this pitch.

"At the end of the road, I think this will be a massive three points.

"I've been enjoying it from the first second I stepped into the building and there's no difference from that. I don't make any predictions. We're just focused on ourselves."

"James Tavernier is not busy with his stats, he is busy winning games with the team and he was again very important."

I don't think Aberdeen would go as far as sacking Neil Warnock. They'll just try to see it out.

He seems to have come up here with no idea about the players he's got under his charge. He's not got a shape to get the best out of them. There's no stability. It seems to be an experiment in every game.

The veteran coach is still searching for a win in the Premiership.

Next up for Aberdeen is a trip to St Mirren on Saturday.

St Johnstone manager Craig Levein tells BBC Sportsound: "Well done to my players. There was questions asked after the game at the weekend but they came up with all the right answers tonight.

"They're an honest bunch and last week was more than a blip for us, it was embarrassing at times. They recognised that and took the comments on board. They've gone out and won the fight.

"Kimpioka ran in behind constantly and worked extremely hard. Nicky Clark is a clever player. They did well but I can't single out those two. Some of the tackles and blocks, the goalkeeper's contribution, it was all very good.

"Hopefully this is us on a different path to the one it looked like we were on after the St Mirren game."

Benjamin Kimpioka tortured Aberdeen with his pace and energy and Dan Phillips was a class act in midfield. Stevie May came on and really should have made it three. A thoroughly deserved win for St Johnstone.

That's 11 wins in a row for Rangers, nine in the league.

The timing of the goals helped, but Rangers had to show character and composure.

Kilmarnock were amazing. Derek McInnes will be disappointed to lose but he must be so proud of his players,

They made it really difficult for Rangers, they just didn't have that killer edge.

Another tough evening for Livingston as they remain seven points adrift at the bottom, with games running out.

Tete Yengi opened the scoring after just three minutes and the home side did well to make it to half time in front but they just couldn't match Motherwell in the second half.

Sam Nicholson's equaliser made things uncomfortable for Livi before Blair Spittal fired the visitors in front.

Motherwell held off a late rally and Jack Vale's header made sure of all three points.

Another dismal night for Aberdeen who get themselves deeper into relegation trouble. Make no mistake, they are now in real bother.

It is hard to see where the wins are coming from at the moment and, if Neil Warnock can't find a way to change that, then who knows where this campaign could lead?

The chants of "sack the board" coming from the Red Shed part of the ground sum up the mood of the increasingly disgruntled and disillusioned home support.

As for St Johnstone, this was a great return to winning ways. They streetwise in their approach, playing to their strengths.

Craig Levein will be hoping this can be a real platform upon which his side can build for the remainder of the season.
