    Tete Yengi tries to get another move going for Livi.

    He wins the ball in his own half and makes a lovely run deep into the Motherwell half. The ball ends up with Dan MacKay, who tries a strike from the edge of the box but it soars wide.

    You have to admire the energy and organisation of this Kilmarnock team. Hassling and harrying Rangers all over the park, sharp and enterprising going forward, with Armstrong and Kennedy looking their usual threatening selves on the wings.

    Can Killie keep it up for 90 minutes? They may well need to call on that strong-looking bench of theirs.

    Kilmarnock's wingers, Danny Armstrong and Matty Kennedy, are so tenacious and have such quality when they win possession.

    Their pressing, movement and pace are troubling Rangers down the flanks, and the latter curls a sumptuous cross in from the left, begging to be prodded home.

    For Kilmarnock, alas, there are no takers.

    Rangers have responded well to going behind, with new signing Oscar Cortes particularly energetic.

    The midfielder spins neatly inside on the edge of the box and bends a low shot towards the far corner.

    A solid Will Dennis stop sends it behind and Connor Goldson nods over from the corner.

    Massive chance for Aberdeen as St Johnstone are dispossessed in midfield. Bojan Miovski is played clean through, but he drags his shot well wide.

    St Johnstone hit straight back. Matt Smith curls in a brilliant cross and Nicky Clark tries to chest it in, but Kelle Roos saves comfortably.

    Both sides with brilliant chances to open the scoring.

    It's an inviting ball in from the right by Alistair Johnston, and Idah gets above his man to score his fifth goal in Celtic colours.

    It's exactly what Livingston needed in these early exchanges.

    Bruce Anderson plays a lovely 1-2 with Tete Yengi who then lays it off off to Dan Mackay.

    Liam Kelly in the Motherwell goal gets down to try and smother the original effort but Tete Yengi is there to follow up and he absolutely rifles it into the back of the net to give Livingston a very early lead.

    This is the kind of start Brendan Rodgers would have been craving. A goal to the good and his team are pressing Dundee constantly. They look lively and Yang's pace is causing all sorts of problems.

    The home crowd are right behind the team too, which again will be to the Celtic manager's liking.
