Joel Cooper starts for the first time since early February while Kyle McClean returns to the line-up. They replace the injured Euan East and Ethan McGee, who is cup-tied following his January move from Dungannon.

Portadown also make two changes from the side which exited the Irish Cup against Cliftonville.

Dougie Wilson replaces Chris Rodgers in defence while Ryan Mayse, who scored Portadown's semi-final winner from the penalty spot against Glenavon, starts ahead of striker Paul McElroy, who is named among the substitutes.

  12. Up for the Cuppublished at 14:29 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March

    Linfield v Portadown (15:00 GMT)

Holders Linfield will aim to extend their record haul of BetMcLean Cup triumphs to 12 when they face Championship side Portadown in today's final at Windsor Park.

The Blues go into the decider as strong favourites having recovered from a chastening 3-0 league defeat by Coleraine on 16 February with three subsequent wins kickstarted by an impressive 3-0 victory at Cliftonville four days later.

David Healy's side have shown their credentials on the way to the decider by beating Queen's University, Glentoran, league champions Larne (in a penalty shootout) and Dungannon Swifts.

But Portadown's form has been mightily impressive on the way to becoming the first Championship side to reach the final since Ards in 2015-16.

After beating Premier Intermediate outfit Coagh United 4-1 way back in early September, Niall Currie's side have since gone on to take Premiership scalps in Crusaders, Loughgall and Glenavon.

The Ports will be aiming for the club's third triumph in the competition after beating Crusaders 2-1 in the 1995-96 decider with a Gary McCutcheon goal earning them a 1-0 victory over Newry City 13 seasons later.
