  2. 'Morton yearning for half-time'published at 20:24 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March

    Morton 0-0 Hearts

    Ryan McGowan
Former Hearts defender on BBC Scotland

If it gets to 0-0 at half-time, Morton could regroup and come out a little more refreshed in the second half.

You never know, a mistake, a couple of loose headers here and there and they get an opportunity and take it, it could totally change the game.

  3. Postpublished at 33 mins

    Morton 0-0 Hearts

There's been a real swing in momentum in the last five minutes or so.

Nothing has really sparked it, Hearts just seem to have cracked out their shell.

    Certainly in the ascendancy now.

  4. 'Oakley a big miss'published at 20:19 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March

    Morton 0-0 Hearts

    Ryan McGowan
Former Hearts defender on BBC Scotland

I think that is where Morton are missing Oakley - he is someone who can hold the ball up, bring Morton out up the pitch, maybe win a foul, keep possession.

He is a big miss for them and they seem to be struggling without him...

  5. CLOSE!published at 29 mins

    Morton 0-0 Hearts

Lawrence Shankland swivels in search of the bottom corner but Ryan Mullen just gets enough to push it onto the post and out for a corner.

    Hearts are growing into this...

Alan Forrest if making some lovely runs down the channels.

Really appears to be targeting the right-side of Morton's defence where the booked Jack Baird is.

The home side have certainly played the first quarter of this match with an energy and a belief.

The game plan to go back to front quickly is working and placing the Hearts defence under significant pressure.

  8. YELLOW CARDpublished at 24 mins

    Morton 0-0 Hearts

Jack Baird enters David Dickinson's book.

I'm not too sure what he's to do, there. Going for the ball, he does just connect with Beni Baningime, but aye, not sure where he's meant to put his foot there.

Morton centre-back must be careful now.

    Morton 0-0 Hearts

Hearts just cranking up the pressure a wee bit...

Dexter Lembikisa has a decent delivery on him. A couple more balls make their way into the box before Lawrence Shankland has a pop on the half-volley from the edge of the box.

A rarity, it just creeps over from the Scotland international.

Since experiencing Morton's win against Motherwell, I haven't stopped singing, 'Cowshed want to party all the time'.

    It's so catchy and such a toe-tapper.

Shame I'm an awful singer. Spare a thought for my friends and family who have to listen to my cover version all the time.

Oft! What a start that would have been.

Alan Power swings in a sensational free-kick, but Craig Gordon is alert and big as the goalkeper sprawls his frame out to get in before any Morton attacker can connect.
