    John O'Shea wirnessed a decent performance from his Republic side although it was missed opportunity with Evan Ferguson's penalty save and number of other chances squandered.

    O'Shea completes his short stint on Tuesday night against Switzerland with the FAI hoping to announce a new permanent manager early next month.

    We'll be back for the visit of Switzerland but that's all from us for now.

    Stalemate in Dublin as John O'Shea's first of two games in charge of the Republic ends in a goalless draw.

    O'Shea's side wasted the best first-half chances, including a missed penalty from Evan Ferguson.

    Belgium went closest in the second half as Caoimhin Kelleher pulled off a superb save to deny Thomas Meunier.

    It's a fifth straight draw between the sides.
