    FT: Peterborough 3-1 Stevenage

Victory continues Peterborough's promotion push and they climb above Barnsley to fourth in the League One table.

They're four points behind Derby in second with a game in hand.

They also have a gap of 11 points back to Blackpool in seventh.

Stevenage are a point ahead of Blackpool just inside the play-offs but have now gone three games without a win.

  4. Postpublished at 21:58 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March

    FT: Peterborough 3-1 Stevenage

Stevenage were much the better side in the first half but gave away a cheap penalty in the closing moments of it, which allowed Harrison Burrows to give Posh the lead.

The visitors pressed again after the break but again without creating anything clear cut and Peterborough broke to score a second through Jadel Katongo.

Kwame Poku then blasted in a third to add gloss to the scoreline before Nick Freeman's consolation for the visitors.

  5. 'Peterborough have every chance of promotion'published at 21:58 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March

    FT: Peterborough 3-1 Stevenage

    Lee Hendrie
Former Aston Villa midfielder on Sky Sports

It could be a good season for Darren Ferguson and Peterborough. I think they've got every chance of automatic promotion.

I think it helps that they've had a relatively settled starting 11 and they've got a lot of attacking talent that can come in. When you've got players that can do that - they've been scoring goals relentlessly this season.

They want to keep going on this run they've been on.

  6. FULL-TIMEpublished at 21:57 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March

    Peterborough 3-1 Stevenage

A final corner for Stevenage comes to nothing and that's that.

A cosy win in the end for Posh and a fifth victory on the spin.

  7. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:53 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March

    Peterborough 3-1 Stevenage

A free-kick to the far post is headed back and then headed towards goal by Stevenage substitute Kane Hemmings.

It forces Jed Steer into a sharp save to tip the ball over the bar.

Stevenage need a moment quickly to set up a grandstand finish.

  8. INJURY TIMEpublished at 21:50 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March

  9. 'Too little, too late for Stevenage'published at 21:47 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March

    Peterborough 3-1 Stevenage

    Lee Hendrie
Former Aston Villa midfielder on Sky Sports

It's a long throw-in and it's not dealt with. There's been a few balls not dealt with from Peterborough but this is a great finish from Nick Freeman.

He's got to come in and gauge, he puts it in the only corner available, but I think it's a little bit too late for Stevenage.

Another long throw and again it's not dealt with by Peterborough.

But this time it falls kindly for Stevenage and Nick Freeman slides in a low shot with his left foot.

    Too little too late, surely.

  11. 'Mothersille making the difference'published at 21:41 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March

    Peterborough 3-0 Stevenage

    Lee Hendrie
Former Aston Villa midfielder on Sky Sports

What an introduction Malik Mothersille has been. He's been the difference in the game.

The finish is absolutely brilliant from Kwame Poku. No chance for the goalkeeper. An absolute bullet and that's game over.

This second-half performance has been a little bit better from Peterborough. They've been comfortable.

  12. goal

GOAL: Peterborough 3-0 Stevenagepublished at 21:36 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March

    Kwame Poku (77 mins)

And Peterborough go straight down the other end and make the game safe.

A lovely reverse pass takes Malik Mothersille to the dead ball line, his intial cross is blocked but he then picks a pass to Kwame Poku making a good run.

He takes a touch and then blasts high into the net with his left foot. Superb finish.

Game over, if it wasn't already.

  13. Postpublished at 76 mins

    Peterborough 2-0 Stevenage

A little opening for Stevenage as they force a throw 25 yards out on the left.

It's launched in and not dealt with by Peterborough but a blue boot eventually hacks clear.

  14. A comeback for the agespublished at 21:33 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March

    FT: Bournemouth 4-3 Luton

Earlier, I told you that Luton were 2-0 up at Bournemouth in the Premier League - they actually went 3-0 up at Vitality Stadium before half-time.

Job done for the Hatters? Nope.

Bournemouth completed a remarkable comeback in the second half to win 4-3, with Antoine Semenyo scoring twice - including the winner.

    Incredible.

  15. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 72 mins

    Peterborough 2-0 Stevenage

Desperate times for Stevenage, having played well but finding themselves with a huge task to take anything from the game.

So on come no fewer than four changes.

Nesta Guinness-Walker, Elliott List, Louis Thompson and Kane Hemmings are all thrown on to try to find a way back into this.

  16. 'Full-back play at its best'published at 21:28 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March

    Peterborough 2-0 Stevenage

    Lee Hendrie
Former Aston Villa midfielder on Sky Sports

I'll tell you what, this is a really good goal. Brilliant, absolutely superb, full-back play at its best.

Peterborough have got really brilliant attacking threat and you can see the substitutions have come in and made an instant impact. This season, their full-backs have been absolutely brilliant.

  17. goal

GOAL: Peterborough 2-0 Stevenagepublished at 21:23 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March

    Jadel Katongo (64 mins)

Peterborough had just found a bit of energy and now they have a second goal!

Made and finished by Jadel Katongo.

The right-back escaped up the right and drove towards the penalty area, slipped a ball towards the dead ball line, got the cross back and slid in to poke home with his left boot.

    That could seal the points.

  18. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 56 mins

    Peterborough 1-0 Stevenage

After a quiet period, Posh make a double change to try to build on their lead.

David Ajiboye and Malik Mothersille are both brought on.

Still nothing really in this game - but Posh have a crucial one-goal advantage.

  19. 'Peterborough have to be patient'published at 21:13 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March

    Peterborough 1-0 Stevenage

    Lee Hendrie
Former Aston Villa midfielder on Sky Sports

Peterborough have to be patient, they don't need to chase the game. It will be all about making Stevenage work hard. Stevenage will keep going. Every opportunity they have to put balls into the box, that's exactly what they will do.

  20. GREAT SAVE!published at 48 mins

    Peterborough 1-0 Stevenage

An early chance for Stevenage and the closest they've come.

A cross from the left is flicked towards the far post by the head of Jamie Reid.

It's not very powerful but spinning towards the right corner and Jed Steer does very well to scramble across and get a big left hand up to push it away.
