All times stated are UK

  1. GOAL: Bradford 0-3 Mansfield

    Davis Keillor-Dunn (18 mins)

    Mansfield have scored again!

Three goals in the first 18 minutes and this time it's Davis Keillor-Dunn to score his 15th goal of the season.

All to do for Bradford now.

  2. GOAL: Bradford 0-2 Mansfield

    Lucas Akins (14 mins)

The League Two leaders are cooking.

Lucas Akins slots home after Stephen Quinn hit the post, followed by another shot saved on the line.

The Stags are well in the driving seat at Valley Parade.

  3. HITS THE WOODWORK

    Forest Green 0-0 Sutton

Still no goals in the battle at the bottom of League Two.

But Sutton have come very close to taking the lead as Charlie Lakin's effort from 25-yards comes off the woodwork.

  4. League Two latest

    #bbcefl

A surprise at promotion-chasing Wrexham as Tranmere take an early 1-0 lead through Luke Norris.

Norris evaded the challenge of a defender, before coolly slotting the ball into the net.

It has been a great few moments for visiting teams after Notts County went ahead at Accrington through Jim O'Brien.

Maxime Biamou also has Doncaster ahead at Swindon, as his team look to make it three consecutive league wins at the County Ground for the first time in their history.

  5. GOAL: Reading 1-0 Cambridge

    Sam Smith (11 mins)

    Football, eh!?

That's five in five for Sam Smith who has broken the deadlock against his old club - no celebration from him. Maybe he is here to make friends after all?

Just seconds after Cambridge had spurned that chance, Harvey Knibbs was played in nicely down the right and his low cross-shot was parried out as far as Smith who took a touch and slotted into the corner. Advantage Reading in the battle near the bottom.

  6. CLOSE!

    Reading 0-0 Cambridge

Cambridge have come even closer to breaking the deadlock at the SCL Stadium, Liam Bennett has whipped in a cross from the right flank and former Royals man Michael Morrison has headed just past Joel Pereira's upright.

Tense times for the Royals faithful.

  7. GOAL: Bradford 0-1 Mansfield

    Baily Cargill (10 min)

The League Two leaders are ahead.

It's Baily Cargill with a header to put the Stags one up.

  8. Post update

    Reading 0-0 Cambridge

Visitors on the attack and Paul Digby has had a close-range effort blocked for Cambridge after Lyle Taylor's clever backheel in the Royals area.

  9. 'Huge game feel'

    Derby 0-0 Bolton

    Nikesh Rughani

    BBC Sport at Pride Park

    Derby v Bolton

This has a real ‘huge game’ feel.

The Derby fans are the most charged up I’ve seen them all season, and know how important today’s points are.

  10. GOAL: MK Dons 1-0 Crewe

    Matthew Dennis (5 mins)

Deadlock broken in the game for the promotion chasers.

Matthew Dennis missed a glorious chance earlier but he's made amends.

It's a scruffy goal as he bundles the ball past Tom Booth but MK Dons won't care.

  11. Post update

    Bradford 0-0 Mansfield

Bright start from the home side as Richie Smallwood plays the ball to Tyreik Wright, but the lofted pass bounces off Wright's foot and into the hands of Mansfield keeper Christy Pym.

  12. GOAL: Accrington 0-1 Notts County

    Jim O'Brien (4 mins)

A strong start for Notts County, who have lost their last five games and need to stop their slide down the table.

Jim O'Brien's calm finish into the bottom corner has given them an early lead at Accrington.

  13. Post update

    Peterborough 0-0 Portsmouth

Posh on the front foot in the early stages but Malik Mothersille's cross-shot from the right has flashed across Will Norris' goalmouth and away from danger.

  14. Post update

    Derby 0-0 Bolton

It's not a school day but, even so, you're going to learn today!

No goals yet at Pride Park but Bolton winger Kenny Davenport scored the first ever goal in the Football League after just two minutes of their game against Derby County on the opening day of the first ever EFL season on 8 September 1888.

136 years, six months and eight days later, they are going head-to-head-once again, for the 137th time… proper football clubs, these.

    Derby v Bolton (15:00 GMT)

The Bolton fans have sold out the away end.

They’ve been in for over an hour before kick-off and are making great noise.

  19. Thrilling promotion battle intensifies in League Two

    #bbcefl

    Paul Mullin of Wrexham

With MK Dons and Crewe playing each other this afternoon, and Stockport not in action until Monday, today is a good opportunity for League Two's third-placed side Wrexham to build a buffer zone within the top three automatic promotion places.

Phil Parkinson's side can also go top if they beat Tranmere at home and league leaders Mansfield lose at Bradford, while just a point would move them up into second.

The battle for the play-off spots is also worth keeping a close eye on, with sixth-placed AFC Wimbledon - who host Newport - being just two points ahead of Walsall, Crawley and Gillingham.

Crawley travel to Salford tomorrow, while the Saddlers and the Gills both play sides who are trying to steer themselves away from trouble at the foot of the table.

Second-bottom Colchester - who are one point adrift of safety - have made their pitch smaller ahead of Walsall's visit to help fix drainage issues.

21st-placed Grimsby visit Gillingham's Priestfield Stadium having won just one away league game all season.

  20. Resurgent Rovers face bottom side Sutton

Forest Green v Sutton (15:00 GMT)

    Charlotte Richardson

    at The Bolt New Lawn

It is a massive battle at the bottom of League Two today.

A resurgent Forest Green Rovers have four wins in their last seven games.

Back-to-back victories including midweek away at Bradford City has lifted the hosts out of the bottom two for the first time since November.

So, there is an air of confidence as they welcome basement side, Sutton United.

For the visitors, nothing but three points will do.

They have only won once so far in 2024. Fail to do so today and you suspect National League football is inevitable next season…
