It does seems like teams miss a lot of chances against Liverpool, which doesn’t help considering they are so lethal down the other end. Atalanta will regret these misses.

Villa striker Ollie Watkins does very well to keep the ball in when a Lille defender thinks it's rolling out of play. He cuts in and has a shot blocked by a tackle.
From the corner he has another effort, this one saved by the keeper.

Davide Zappacosta gets away in space on the right and pulls it back precisely to Charles De Ketelaere.
He flicks it back rather than taking on the shot but it ends in a disappointing strike from Gianluca Scamacca.
