  1. MATCH ON - Dundee v Motherwell (15:00)published at 14:06 British Summer Time 6 April

Dundee's Scottish Premiership match with Motherwell will go ahead after passing a third pitch inspection.

The surface was protected from heavy rainfall by covers hired from Celtic in a bid to avoid a fifth Dens Park postponement this term.

The surface was deemed playable on Thursday, but after a second inspection by referee David Dickinson on Saturday morning, a third took place at 13:00.

Despite the pitch looking heavily sanded, the game will go ahead and Motherwell apologised to their fans for any inconvenience.

Another potential call-off could have resulted in a fixture headache for the SPFL, with the Premiership's pre-split games set to conclude next week and Dundee due to play Rangers in a rescheduled match on Wednesday.
