    Stoke 2-0 Plymouth

What do Plymouth have in response to Stoke doubling their lead before the break?

Well they made a double change going into the second half but it's Stoke who've looked more likely to add to their lead than for Argyle to mount a comeback.

Tyrese Campbell tries a left-footed effort from a tight angle but his effort is well blocked.

    Notts County 0-0 Colchester

    Alastair Yeomans
    Final Score at Meadow Lane

0-0 at half-time and the good numbers who have travelled from Essex will be quite content.

After a good start their Colchester team had to withstand plenty of pressure from Notts County.

But the news from Sutton will have eased their nerves a little.

    Sutton Utd 0-1 Crawley

    Chris Wise
Final Score at the VBS Community Stadium

Sutton have got 45 minutes to salvage their Football League status.

Their goalkeeper, Steve Arnold, had made some great saves early on - but Sutton had grown into the match before that Liam Kelly goal for Crawley just before half-time.

It’s not desperate just yet, but it’s moving that way for the U’s.

    Cambridge 0-1 Derby

    Charlie Slater
BBC Final Score at the Abbey Stadium

Got to love the end of the season vibes. Suddenly the one Derby fan with phone signal/transistor radio is automatically promoted to number one supporter.

A sold-out away end celebrated like promotion was theirs when Derby scored and for all of two minutes, it was before word filtered through that Peterborough had also scored.

All eyes (and ears) on the fella with a radio in the away end in the second half.

Mitchell: Re Matt in Oxford (15:39). With all due respect, Southampton still have to play Leicester and Leeds away. I'd be surprised if they pick up more than a point. If it was any other season, they'd be promoted by now, but there's 3 teams above them that would have something to say about that.

Anyone else reaching for the popcorn?

  14. 'Vulnerable Rotherham'published at 15:55 British Summer Time 20 April 2024

    Rotherham 0-0 Birmingham

    Darren Carter
Ex-Birmingham midfielder on BBC Radio WM

Every time Blues go forward they look a threat. It's the vulnerability of Rotherham - that back four shed a lot of goals.

There's chances here for Blues, you can see it. Rotherham are not comfortable when Birmingham get into the final third so it's all about that bit of quality, that bit of ruthlessness.

Watford goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann has ensured this one remains goalless at the break.

He saved well from an Ozan Tufan penalty, then went on to deny the Tigers midfielder against when he tried a cheeky back-heel finish.

Those saves could prove huge for a Tigers side that need to win to keep their play-off hopes burning bright.

    Stoke 2-0 Plymouth

    Mike Pejic
Former Stoke defender on BBC Radio Stoke

It was an excellent piece of work from Million Manhoef. He was calm, he was collected. He took the game on that counter-attack. Chose his part of the goal and took it well.

A lot of teams when they are winning at half-time, more than not percentage-wise they win the game. That's a fact.
