  4. 'A real squad effort' - Thompsonpublished at 17:11 British Summer Time 20 April

    FT: Portadown 1-1 Dundela

Portadown captain Gary Thompson speaking to Sportsound: "It is euphoric. It was a long, hard slog of a season but this was the end goal to get it over the line today. It wasn't pretty today, a bit of a nervy affair, but we just pipped Dundela at the line. It feels amazing.

"These fans have travelled with us all over the country this season and to reward them is great. We've had two cup finals this season, but this was always how we were going to be measured so we are delighted to get it over the line. What a night we are going to have.

"You can see how much it means to Niall [Currie], he has put it right and he deserves it. It has been a real squad effort and that is the only way you can get over the line."
