"On a day of biblical storms, with dramatic forks of lightning spearing out of inky clouds, there was the first hint of potential tension between Mercedes team-mates Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg at the Malaysian Grand Prix.

"Did Rosberg effectively force Hamilton to back out of a qualifying lap? Hamilton said no; Rosberg said it was not a relevant question. But the German was undoubtedly sensitive to the accusation. Hello! It is race day at the second grand prix of the season - the Malaysian GP.

Lewis Hamilton goes on the hunt for a second successive victory at the front of the pack, having secured pole in Saturday's rain affected qualifying.

However, for the first time in 10 races, it is not his Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg alongside him on the front row, instead it is Sebastian Vettel.

The Ferraris have turned up to the party.
