We are 70 minutes past the original qualifying start time. It's still heaving it down. There are men in yellow cagoule pumping water off the track. Grown men are canoeing in a bucket on wheels down a pit-lane.
Surely, SURELY, it's time to admit defeat. There is no shame in quitting.
