Finally, after the longest winter break in Formula 1 history, the new season is here - and it has been welcomed by rain.
The Thursday build-up day took place in glorious Australian sunshine, but dawn broke to wind and water on Friday and it is expected to continue through the day, and perhaps into Saturday, too.
That’s not great news for hopes of lots of track action, but it raises the chances of action and excitement for those of us watching.
Well, that's how things were when the paddock gathered in Melbourne on Thursday, today it is all a bit more, well, wet.
Still, F1 is back! And the first practice session of 2016 gets under way in just under 30 minutes...
