The two Mercedes' set ups are slightly different and that suggests they will be approaching the race in a slightly different way. Or will the set ups converge after these two sessions of practice?"
"What's the target time," asks Lewis Hamilton.
"Nico, 47.6 that one, 47.6.

Romain Grosjean's session is over. He'd been having issues with his brakes and Haas are going to take a closer look.
Jenson Button's McLaren is still being worked on. Will he get back out before the end? Just 15 minutes to go.
No major changes on the timesheets at the moment.

The 2017 Formula 1 calendar is beginning to take shape and it looks set to have one less race than this year.
The German Grand Prix looks like it will not happen - the organiser at Hockenheim has told Germany’s Sport Bild that attempts to strike a deal have failed. That means Hungary will likely move back a week to Germany’s former date at the end of July, making a three-week gap between that and Silverstone on 9 July. Canada and Brazil, though, over which there were question marks now look likely to survive and, Germany aside, the calendar will have a very similar shape to this year. The main difference being China is set to become the second race, two weeks after Australia’s 26 March opening date, and Bahrain is the third race, a week after China.

Amit Mandalia: I feel old knowing I've seen Button's whole F1 career. Remember reading about shootout with Junqueria in F1 Racing magazine in '99
Christopher: Started my first job after uni around the time Button was announced for Williams. Doubt I'll be retiring anytime soon!
Edward Letherby: Gutted that I didn't get a pic with Jenson at the British Grand Prix this year now that his retirement is confirmed.
Impressive stuff from Force India in this session with Sergio Perez sixth and Alfonso Celis ninth.
Here's another look inside the Button family album - an excellent picture of dad and lad.
Lewis Hamilton, on the softs, improves a touch, doing a 1:42.869. He's three tenths quicker than Nico Rosberg.
Behind the Mercedes pair on the timesheet are: 3) Verstappen 4) Ricciardo 5) Perez 6) Raikkonen 7) Vettel 8) Massa 9) Celis 10) Grosjean
Jenson Button is asked to drive back to the pits slowly, which he does. He's back at the McLaren garage and out of his car now.
Massive lock up for Romain Grosjean and he goes straight off at Turn One.
He's straight on the radio and is sound increasingly frustrated. "Errrr I don't know what happened. The brakes braked," he says.
Hmm. Something not quite right for Jenson Button it seems. He comes through the final corner at a snail's pace. Hopefully nothing too serious.
