    Sebastian Vettel is the fastest man on the track on those fresh supersofts. He does a 1:44.094 to close in on his team-mate Kimi Raikkonen, who is fifth.

    Stoney: All over bar the anthems. Only in F1 can the sixth best competitor win the championship. Far better drivers than Rosberg.

    So that shakes everything out at the front with Lewis Hamilton back in the lead, 1.2 seconds ahead of Nico Rosberg. Max Verstappen is third, but he's got his team-mate Daniel Ricciardo seventh tenths of a second behind him.

    Sebastian Vettlel pits from the lead. He's slipped into some supersofts for the final part of the race. 

    There's a brief flutter of the yellow flags after contact between a Manor and a Sauber resulted in a bit of front wing flying off and onto the track.

    Trust me, later on tonight Rosberg will not care about not winning this race. If it's second or third it won't really matter to him. Getting the job done is what is important.

    "Pace is slow again," says Nico Rosberg. He wants Lewis Hamilton to get a bit of a wiggle on. The gap isn't really changing between himself and Hamilton. It's currently 1.2 seconds.

    Gareth Wilson: Rosberg hasn't got the bottle to try win this. Lewis Hamilton is far the better.

    Sho Rahman: IMO Nico isn't a deserved champion. Without all the mechanical problems Lewis wouldn't been champion, that's a fact.

    Ben Wire: Rosberg deserves it. Consistency + luck and the points won't lie. Just don't mistake "deserving" for "better driver" which he isn't.

    Max Verstappen is inching closer to Nico Rosberg. The Dutchman is fourth, 3.8 seconds behind Rosberg. 

    Remember if Rosberg doesn't finish in the top three AND Lewis Hamilton wins the race, then Hamilton will be world champion...

    Lewis Hamilton does a lap of 1:45.3 so it would seem he is not playing games. He's doing what his team want him to do at the moment.

    Gap between Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg now down to 1.1 seconds. Will Hamilton be tempted to slow his team-mate down and bring someone else into the mix? Will Rosberg gun it and go for victory?

    As it stands, Sebastian Vettel is the race leader but he'll be stopping again. Lewis Hamilton is second with Nico Rosberg third. There's 1.7 seconds between the two Mercedes drivers.

    Faultless stop by Nico Rosberg and he's sent on his way with no fuss. A 2.3 second stop, the Mercedes mechanics' work is done.
