Someone fetch me snacks. Instanter.
Go on...
Red Bull team principal Christian Horner, speaking to Sky Sports: "If we were to do qualifying in the morning, it wouldn't be that difficult for us because we are starting from the back of the grid and we won't do much in qualifying anyway [Red Bull's cars will take grid penalties owing to too may engine-part changes].
"But for others, it's very intense for the team to get the car prepped straight out of qualifying for the race".
If qualifying is suspended for the day it can take place on Sunday morning.
The last time this happened was in Austin in 2015 when heavy rain caused a series of delays not unlike today's.
It would be the fifth time qualifying has taken place on the Sunday before the race after Japan 2004, Japan 2010, Australia 2013 and Austin two years ago.

Mercedes team boss Niki Lauda, speaking to Sky Sports: "The weather doesn't look like it will improve. This is a difficult afternoon for all the drivers and all the teams. I would rather wait until tomorrow and have a dry qualifying and dry race.
"Mercedes need to have a one-two tomorrow because in Singapore we will lose for sure."

PhilSlocombe: Prost is absolutely right; shame on those people who want to drivers risk their lives for their to satisfy their voyeurism
Andy Roberts: Just get on with it! Drive according to the conditions, if too wet slow down a bit! Not difficult!
Quixoticgeek: To the people claiming their car can drive in the rain, why can't F1 cars? Do their cars do 300+kph in the rain? Really?

Belting it down again. Don't think the news at 14:30 is going to be good...
It wasn't.
Ironic cheers and applause from the soggy grandstands.
One minute until we hear those fateful words....
