    That's a wrap. Rain scuppered most teams' running in second practice but with Saturday and Sunday expected to be dry, we should be in for a fair bit more action in final practice.

    Well apologies if you got up early for second practice because apart from paper boats sailing down the pit lane, not a lot went on.

    The chequered flag falls and Lewis Hamilton finishes second practice quickest.

    Not a representative time, though, with only five drivers setting times because of the heavy rain.

    Fernando Alonso is told that the team have the data they need and to "bring the car home".

    Bring it home he does. He returns to the pitlane, as does Lewis Hamilton and that looks to be that for the day.
