Sebastian Vettel finishes quickest in the second part of qualifying.
Sebastian Vettel sneaks in a quick lap to ensure he finishes Q2 quickest ahead of Lewis Hamilton with 1:21.944.
Good laps by the Renaults as Carlos Sainz goes seventh quickest with Nico Hulkenberg 10th. That pushes Fernando Alonso into the dropzone and the two McLarens are OUT.
Stoffel Vandoorne has been pushed into the dangerzone while Fernando Alonso is on the bubble...
Romain Grosjean leaps out of trouble and into seventh with 1:23.468. Good lap, but his team-mate Kevin Magnussen's is even better as replaces Grosjean in seventh with 1:23.300.
Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo, currently fifth and sixth quickest, go out again on supersofts so they will be starting tomorrow's race on that tyre.

First runs done in Q2 and the five drivers in danger of elimination are:

But both Ferraris, on the quickest compound, go quicker than Max Verstappen. Kimi Raikkonen P1 with 1:22.507 and Sebastian Vettel P2 with 1:22.645.
Max Verstappen is the first to set a time in Q2 and it's a 1:22.830.
