Lap 53/58
Lewis Hamilton briefly gets to within a second of Sebastian Vettel but the Ferrari quickly starts pulling away. Fight over?
Lap 52/58
Lewis Hamilton is making up for the time he lost with that earlier error as he puts in a new fastest lap to get to within 1.5 seconds of Sebastian Vettel.
Just six laps remaining. Has he got enough for a late move for the win?

You either retire the car or you get on with it. There's not a lot the engineer can do - he's not going to give you a paracetamol.
Lap 51/58
It's not just on the track Carlos Sainz is struggling. "I'm struggling with my stomach," he says. "I've got a lot of nausea."
Lap 50/58
Carlos Sainz is struggling. He's dropping off Stoffel Vandoorne and is coming into Sergio Perez's sights.

Now we'll see Hamilton's true pace because he's got a three-second gap to make up.
He's just been frustrated with his engineer saying can he get on with it... er, yes you can now Lewis because there's a gap to make up.
Lap 49/58
Valtteri Bottas is struggling to get the better of Nico Hulkenberg. The Mercedes is still eighth, half a second behind the Renault.
Lap 48/58
That's cost Lewis Hamilton a couple of seconds. Sebastian Vettel now leads by three seconds with 10 laps to go.
Lap 47/58
"Can I push yet," asks an eager Lewis Hamilton.
"I'm going for it," he decides anyway before promptly running wide as he attacks a corner too aggressively.

We've got a race on our hands. Hamilton's got the bit between his teeth.
Lap 46/58
A reminder of that battles we've got with 12 laps to go.
Sebastian Vettel v Lewis Hamilton
Kimi Raikkonen v Daniel Ricciardo
Fernando Alonso v Max Verstappen.
What's not to love about that!?
Lap 45/58
Lewis Hamilton has had to loosen the line a little bit after his latest attempt to reel in Sebastian Vettel. The gap between the two is now back to just over a second.
Lap 44/58
Fernando Alonso is coping well with Max Verstappen. The McLaren is fifth with the Red Bull sixth, 0.6s behind.
Lap 43/58
Daniel Ricciardo is so close to sampling a shoey he can almost smell it (not a nice thought).
A podium is tantalisingly close but Kimi Raikkonen is holding him at arm's length - the gap between the two a second now.

Hamilton is within a second. He's really scrabbling around. He's so eager to get the power down but the grip's just not there, and the more that he does it, the tyres get hotter, the grip falls away.
Lap 42/58
I'm half expecting steam to start popping off the Mercedes and panels to start bursting, is absolutely driving it to its limit as he slams in another fastest lap of the race. The gap down to six tenths now as the Mercedes tries to reel the Ferrari in...
Lap 41/58
"He has DRS," Sebastian Vettel is told.
Lewis Hamilton is now within eight tenths of the Ferrari...
Lap 40/58
Lewis Hamilton is told he can use "Strat 14" but is reminded that it isn't sustainable as he steps up the chase on Sebastian Vettel.
Both drivers are lapping in the 1:26s - the only drivers that are. The fight is on.
Lap 39/58
Lewis Hamilton is a couple of tenths quicker than Sebastian Vettel on his latest lap, keeping him within DRS range.
