Two races in and it is maximum points for Sebastian Vettel.
Feli: With medium tyres almost as old as Vettel's were, I doubt Hamilton could have gotten the overtake done either, so honestly, can people cut Bottas a break?
Daniel Adam: What a race by Gasly! Future star in the making
Toro Rosso driver Pierre Gasly, who finished fourth, speaking to Sky Sports: "Unbelievable. We never expected something like this. I am super happy, I am struggling to realise but big thank you for the team with the car.
"I don't know what to say, I am just happy for today.
"We definitely made a step this weekend. We just need to take the time and enjoy because it is a great day for the team."
Mercedes sum up everybody's thoughts after that one. Brilliant excitement.
Kimi Raikkonen, speaking to the media about the incident when one of his mechanics got injured: "I don't know what shape he is in. For sure, not great for him."
What happened? "I go when the light is green. I don't see what happens behind and unfortunately he got hurt. My job is to go when the light is green, I don't know more than that and hopefully he is OK."
Mercedes boss Toto Wolff, speaking to Sky Sports: "With a two and three we have to be happy after yesterday.
"We need to stay humble, we were not great on Friday and Saturday. The heat is not something we like, the track surface is not good for us. We will come back strong in China, hopefully."
On race strategy: "Alonso was the first one to put the medium on and it was surprisingly good. Bottas started to drop off, we knew the undercut was 2.1 seconds but when he crossed the line it was 2.2 so we decided to stay out and go longer."
On the Hamilton-Verstappen incident: "It was a racing incident. Max dived in on the inside, a good move, bit aggressive pushing Hamilton out but I think most drivers would have done that."
Pierre Gasly's result of fourth is the best result by a Honda-powered car since 2008. Thoughts, McLaren?
A disastrous day for Red Bull though. Max Verstappen's race ended early on after a bang with Lewis Hamilton left the Dutchman with a puncture.
Another great day for Renault, with a second finish inside the top seven for Nico Hulkenberg this season. Seventh in Australia, sixth today.

Bob McFeil: Most thrilling race ever! Wowww! Come on Lewis and what a race by Alonso! Edge of your seat excitement.
Alex Withington: Another win for Ferrari but you can't ignore that Mercedes have the best race pace. I'm expecting Lewis to strike back in China.
Lucas M: The race was Vettels to lose. Bottas needed to take advantage of the situation and failed to use a killer instinct to take the win in Bahrain.
Final word from Sebastian Vettel: "A bit sad because one of our mechanics got injured. A mixed day overall."

Lewis Hamilton, who finished third: "I am happy. Firstly congratulations to Sebastian and Valtteri did an exceptional job. It was damage limitation.
"There were some frustrating points in the race when they could not hear me on the radio. Communication is really difficult when you are trying to catch Vettel."
More from Sebastian Vettel: "Mercedes were on the harder compound meaning no more stop possibly for them.
"It turned out to be a great strategy and put us under pressure but we had nothing to lose. To get the win under these conditions tastes even better."
Valtteri Bottas, who finished second, said: "We were on the harder compound and I knew there was a chance he [Vettel] could struggle. I was trying to catch him but it was just not enough.
"Being second is extremely disappointing, we will try to get them next time."
Race winner Sebastian Vettel: "I think I came on the radio with 10 laps to go saying everything was under control. That was a lie. With Bottas' pace I thought he would catch me. I tried to keep it as clean as possible.
"Our plan worked but just, Bottas had a bit of a sniff but ran out of laps."

A second top-10 finish in two races for Fernando Alonso. Fifth in Australia and seventh here. A good day for McLaren with Stoffel Vandoorne also taking eighth spot.
A bittersweet win for Ferrari as they wait for more news on their mechanic's condition.

And these are the full results for the Bahrain Grand Prix.
Richard Shuttleworth: Mercedes and Bottas should be really disappointed the haven’t won! Why did they leave it so late to push? Question marks over Bottas ability at the very top for me.
Blasts: Wow. Watching that 57/57 final lap, felt like my last breath. Breathtaking!
