Williams fans. How much more of this can you take? Last and one from last. Sadly, once again Kubica is in 20th with Russell 19th.

A late surge coming in. Sainz jumps up to fourth, then drops down to fifth as Norris moves up to third.

The young Brit Norris got into Q3 last time out. The same again today?

Everyone's best time has come on the softs, apart from Gasly, who is miles down in 16th, but has only been on the mediums, so that's probably why.

We're asking who will be the best and worst drivers of the year, as well as the surprise and the biggest disappointment?

Swizzle: I think the biggest surprise is we're going to see how good Hulk really is in relation to Dan, and how he should have been in contention for the top teams. (Fan of them both btw.)

Nigel C Moore: Biggest shock of the year, Vettel being asked to move aside because Leclerc is faster.

Amit: One (good) surprise this year would be @OconEsteban, external back racing this year.

Agree with that one Amit. But where would he go? Maybe knowing that the hugely talented Ocon is waiting in the wings for Mercedes is part of the reason why Valtteri Bottas has started this season so strongly.

Vettel is the second under the 1.30 mark, but not as quick as Leclerc, 0.169 seconds slower in fact. Both Ferraris a second clear of the rest.

Sergio Perez is being pushed back into the garage. He's ninth at the moment, but that's him done for a while. A rear left puncture seems to be the damage.

    What of Lewis Hamilton?

He's pushing it to the limit, as he always does, and gets his rewards for his bravery by moving to the top. Only 0.095 ahead of Valtteri Bottas at the moment. OK, it might not be that representative of what will happen later on, but it's great they're so close.

Softs for Nico. He had a lucky escape yesterday when he banged into Antonio Giovinazzi.

And those softs have been a good call, as he's now up to second.

Bottas, Hulkenberg, Leclerc, Kvyat, Vettel, Sainz, Norris, Magnussen, Raikkonen, Grosjean are our top 10, all on the softs apart from the two McLarens - who are armed with the mediums.
