  2. Postpublished at 15:38 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2022

A hydraulics issue for Kevin Magnussen, affecting the power steering, in the Haas, although he's maybe already down enough to secure a Q3 spot and a starting position inside the top 10.

What does Verstappen do now, because he's clearly in a different world right now to everybody else.

I don't think he needs to come out in this session now, he can sit on those tyres.

We have a tweak in the rules in Q2 compared to last season. Before, if you finished in the top 10 of Q2 then whatever tyres you set your fastest lap on were the tyres you had to start the race on.

That's been dropped from the rules now so everyone will be on the softs.

    • 18. Daniel Ricciardo (McLaren)
    • 19. Lance Stroll (Aston Martin)

    Sam Bird
Formula E driver on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

That Mercedes porpoising looked terrible again, it looked better in FP3.

Come the evening session, cooler temperature, it's come back. George Russell looked like he was bouncing about going into turn 15 terribly.

  15. Postpublished at 15:18 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2022

How satisfying would this be for Valtteri Bottas if this was how they started tomorrow? He is currently fourth, ahead of the man who replaced him at Mercedes, George Russell, and ahead of his former team-mate Lewis Hamilton.

  18. Postpublished at 15:14 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2022

McLaren had a strong 2021, but it's a tough start to 2022. Lando Norris is 15th as it stands, Daniel Ricciardo 18th and needing to improve or he'll be out in Q1.
