Verstappen reporting a problem with the steering, but whatever the issue is he's sending in a quick lap.
Ferrari pit Carlos SaInz, but Charles Leclerc stays out there.
Lewis Hamilton is in again for Mercedes, but it's a slow stop for him.

This is heartbreaking to see for McLaren. They were so good last season, but it's been a disaster here today for them. Lando Norris 16th, Daniel Ricciardo 18th.
The only men behind Ricciardo is Nicholas Latifi in the Williams and short-term substitute Nico Hulkenberg in the Aston Martin.

Kevin Magnussen, dropped by Haas for the Russian money of Nikita Mazepin in 2021 and then called back in when that partnership went sour, is in a remarkable seventh.
Haas did not pick up a single point in 2021, they're on course for six today.

Ferrari won three races in a row in September 2019 - Leclerc triumphing in Belgium and Italy before Sebastian Vettel won in Singapore on 22 September, 2019.
But Ferrari have not had any wins since then.
They were second with Leclerc in the first race of the season in Austria in 2020 and both Carlos Sainz and Leclerc got onto the second step of the podium once each last year - Sainz in race five at Monaco and Leclerc in race 10 at Silverstone.

There are some really bizarre things happening in terms of tyre choice. I think that is because we don't know, with these new tyres and these new cars, what to expect and I think even some of the teams have been caught out.
Ferrari have not had a race win in the 2020s, but their team have done all they can with some excellent pit stops.

It's lap 37 of 57 and Leclerc's lead is currently at 2.3 seconds. These tyres are not as durable as the teams are hoping though so we have some late pitlane drama coming up in this one.
