    Great Scottish Run

    As well as Cardiff, Glasgow will be packed with runners today for two events as over 300,000 people take part in Scotland's largest mass participation running event. 

    A 10K gets us under way at 09:45 BST before the Great Scottish Run, another half marathon, begins at 11:30. 

    The fun runners will take centre stage but we will also bring you updates of the world famous elite runners taking part in Wales and Scotland races today.

    Of course, we don't encourage any childish behaviour such as this...

    Cardiff Half Marathon

    First to get under way this morning is the Cardiff Half Marathon.

    Wales' largest participation event with a record 25,000 adults registered for events across the weekend.

    Today is the the big one when 22,000 people will run 13.1 miles through the city.
