We mentioned CP United FC earlier (see 12:25 entry) who are one of the teams here in Sheffield.

They all have cerebral palsy and play football because it helps with their muscles and balance.

They struggle with every day tasks such as tying their shoelaces and holding cups, but they tell me that playing football is helping with things like that.

A lovely email there from Kingsley.

Here's another one about how football can help bridge communities.

I am an international student and have lived here for six years - it can be hard sometimes being away from home, in a foreign country with a massive cultural difference and background.

Football is a common sport in all countries around the world and when I heard about the FA People's Cup I was excited.

As a result, I created Intercontinental FC which comprises students from different countries and cultural backgrounds.

The ultimate goal is that we look forward to the tournament and the excitement and smile last for some time.

Thanks to the FA People's Cup for giving me another reason to smile, feel belonged and not miss home that much.

Unfortunately Kingsley and his team were knocked out earlier in the week at Northumbria University but we hope to see you again next year!

It's the Youth Disability category this morning here in Sheffield.

Sheffield FC Disability have a range of disabilities from ADHD to Autism.

They love playing in the People's Cup because it gives them an opportunity to learn about other people's disabilities.

One of the teams they are playing today, CP United, are a team made up of individuals who have Cerebral Palsy.

Sheffield FC have never played a team who suffer from Cerebral Palsy so they're excited about that challenge.

At St Ives Rangers, many of our players have a problem and football is their escape.

Luke only has one kidney and is waiting for a transplant.

Will can tell you stories of being a child who loved football and being told he can’t play because of his disability.

Johnny seems to come alive during a game of football when the rest of the time he often struggles to do the simplest thing.

Sam has trouble expressing himself but while playing everybody understands him.

Nick, Dan and Aron all seem to be able to express themselves.

As one it seems the simplest of things but together they are a team of mates, there for each other.

This whole group is loved by everybody who works with them, they show their best sides and seem so happy, no one puts them down and the caring side is what makes me give up my time to make sure they can play - they inspire me.
