The Giants winning streak in the Elite League ends at 11 and while they had plenty of chances to win the game in regulation and overtime they have to tip their cap to Alex Dubeau who after giving up five goals in the first period of Friday night's loss bounced back with an outstanding performance.

Disappointing not to complete the sweep and now the Giants will travel to Guildford on Wednesday night for the first leg of the Challenge Cup semi-final. The big games just keep coming fast at this stage of the season.

This game could still go either way but as the old cliche goes - the next goal could be all important. It's been a really good game so far and we could be in for a thrilling finish.

Double Olympic champion Dame Kelly Holmes was in Belfast this weekend and enjoyed a night out at the Giants. Kelly, who struck gold twice in Athens in 2004, was presented with a Giants jersey and hopefully she will be back soon....

Panthers lead for the first time this weekend as they score early in the second period converting a 2-on-1 with Mike Hammond's pass finding Brett Welychka who makes a move and beats Tyler Beskorowany

Back underway here at the SSE Arena. Don't think either side is going to run away with this game tonight. Panthers look better when they start to get physical with the Giants but can they continue that in the second period?

Exciting opening twenty minutes - fast start from the Giants who owned the first half of the period but the Panthers are here to play tonight and that equaliser had the travelling support on their feet and momentum to take into the second period.
