    The Belfast Giants begin the weekend in 4th place in the Elite League, five points behind leaders, Guildford Flames.

    Nottingham are in sixth place, 17 points behind Belfast.

    The two sides met recently in the Challenge Cup Quarter-Final when the Giants came from three goals behind on aggregate early in the second leg to win and move on to the semi-finals.

    Nottingham won the only league meeting between the sides at the NIC.
