Summary

  • Belfast Giants v Fife Flyers (19:00 BST)

  1. Belfast Giants beat Fife Flyers 7-4published at 21:32 British Summer Time 13 October 2023

What would have happened if the Flyers had made a better start?

The Giants coach Adam Keefe won't be happy with the way his side played in the final period.

Four goals in the opening ten minutes of the game and it looked like the rout was on for the home side but credit to the Flyers as they never gave up and took advantage on the powerplay to get themselves back into the game.

However it was the Giants seventh win in a row to start the season - 5 in the Challenge Cup and 2 in the Elite League - and this victory means they top Group A in the Challenge Cup with a game to spare.

The two sides will meet again on Saturday night in the Elite league in Kirkcaldy and Fife will be buoyed by their final period performance.
