    Belfast Giants 5-0 Glasgow Clan

What a game at the SSE Arena tonight and it's the home side who come away with the two points as they are the 5-0 victors.

We didn't have to wait long to see the first goal as just 59 seconds in, Ara Nazarian broke the deadlock after superb build-up play from the forward.

In the second period there were three penalty shots, two for the Giants and one for Glasgow, with Bobby MacIntyre the only one able to convert their shot.

It didn't take long for the Giants to extend their lead after their second penalty shot though as Ciaran Long made it 3-0 less than a minute later.

The goals weren't done there as Bobby MacIntyre netted his second of the evening and David Goodwin found the back of the net in the final period.

It was an impressive performance from Giants netminder Jackson Whistle, who registered 33 saves during his shut-out performance.

Adam Keefe's men are now unbeaten at home in their last nine games and it was a dominant and clinical performance from them tonight.
