Everybody is shell-shocked. Nobody can quite believe what they have seen. What a sensational upset. Poirier was a massive underdog.

The biggest win of Poirier's career.

McGregor is good with his timing. The calf kicks have been successful for Poirier, but McGregor's left hand is like a piston.

I'd go with McGregor in that first round. Poirier is looking to tire him, but it was all Conor in that last minute.

Both fighters have touched gloves.
The main event is under way.
Dustin Poirier, wearing black trunks, is second to the octagon.
He fist-bumps his team and makes his way up the steps to the cage.
We're moments away.
Here comes Conor McGregor...
He's sporting a shaven head and green trunks.
No McGregor strut as he enters the octagon though - he looks business-like tonight.

Conor McGregor is a polarising individual outside of the sport. Whether you love him or hate him, if you enjoy combat sports, you are going to enjoy watching him.

There's nothing like a Conor McGregor night. There's only 2,000 people here but there's Irish flags everywhere. This is going to be special,
Much like in the build-up to Conor McGregor's win over Donald Cerrone last January, the Irishman has been much more reserved around Dustin Poirier compared to the brash, trash-talking fighter of previous years.
There's been plenty of handshakes and compliments shared, and the two fighters have even agreed to share whiskey and hot sauce (not together I hope) after the fight.

That is a statement from Michael Chandler on his UFC debut.
The American walked Dan Hooker down throughout the first round before eventually landing with a big left hook.
A flurry of punches on the ground and that's enough for the referee to step in.
