  2. Russians at UFC Londonpublished at 22:19 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2022

A number of Russians, including Alexander Volkov in the main event, are fighting here tonight despite a number of sporting bodies across the world imposing bans on Russian athletes as a result of the ongoing war in Ukraine.

The UFC have resisted calls for Volkov and his fellow Russians to be pulled from UFC London, but had alternative opponents in place amid concerns the fighters may not be allowed to enter the UK.

Volkov's opponent Tom Aspinall says he will treat the Russian like any other opponent.

Aspinall told BBC Sport: “I’ve tried not to think about it. I don’t agree with war, I think everyone is against war.

"I’ve got to treat him like any other opponent. The whole nationality thing, usually it doesn’t matter where the guy is from. To me, he’s just another opponent.”

  3. Tom Aspinall leads ‘golden generation’ at UFC Londonpublished at 22:18 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2022

    Next up, the main event.

With four fights and four stoppages in his short UFC career, Tom Aspinall is not just considered a star in waiting by pundits, but also a champion in the making.

The 28-year-old expects to come out on top against Alexander Volkov, but admits he's nervous.

"I expect myself to show that I'm levels above the rest of the division," said Aspinall.

"But I'm nervous. It's scary. But the nerves and the fear, I feel like it makes me do stuff I couldn't without the nerves and fear."

Allen admits he was extremely nervous before this fight in his post-fight interview

"I want to dedicate this win to long time coach Peter - he's in hospital now battling cancer," says Allen

He then called out American Calvin Kattar.

"A top five guy now for sure - what we thinking? Calvin Kattar? I think that's the fight people want to see."

  6. 'Clinical from Allen'published at 22:15 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2022

BBC Sport combat sports editor at UFC London

That was clinical from Arnold Allen. He now has a nine-fight winning streak in the UFC and claims the biggest scalp of his career in Hooker.

He hurt Hooker early with hard, short hooks and then pushed him back again with a head kick. Allen never took his foot off the gas and Hooker couldn't live with the pace.

Dan Hooker is no push-over and Allen is surely onto big things this year? Who could he fight next? Endless options in the featherweight division.. exciting times for the Meal Deal connoisseur.

That's a nine-fight win streak in the UFC for Arnold Allen - second only in history in the featherweight division to Max Holloway's record of 13.

The win over Dan Hooker is the big name Allen has been craving and puts him in position to fight someone in the top-five.

Who would you like to see the 28-year-old face next?

That is a big statement win for Allen.

    Arnold Allen v Dan Hooker

It looks like Allen's early strategy is to take out the long legs of Hooker as he lands a series of calf kicks.

Allen then stuns Hooker with a right hand before unloading a flurry of punches.

There's blood coming from Hooker's nose.

  11. Postpublished at 22:06 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2022

Both fighters are looking very calm and focussed in there as Bruce Buffer does his thing.

This fight could have big implications for the UFC featherweight division.

Here comes New Zealand's Dan Hooker who is dropping down from lightweight for this fight against Arnold Allen.

I must say he looked ripped in the pre-fight weigh-ins yesterday.

Allen told me on Thursday he expects the weight-cut to affect Hooker negatively - it won't be long until we find out.

  13. 'Beating Hooker would be biggest win of my career'published at 22:00 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2022

Next up is the co-main event featuring Ipswich's Arnold Allen taking on the popular Dan Hooker at featherweight.

Allen is on an eight-fight winning streak in the UFC - the second-longest in featherweight history - but concedes a fight over a big name is what's lacking from his resume.

He believes a win over New Zealand's Hooker tonight would tick that box and put him in contention to fight a top five opponent such as Calvin Kattar or Yair Rodriguez.

  15. Bisping confident of future British championpublished at 21:55 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2022

Michael Bisping remains the only British champion is UFC history when he defeated Luke Rockhold for the middleweight title in 2016.

With Leon Edwards securing a welterweight title shot against Kamaru Usman however, and the potential of fighters like Arnold Allen and Tom Aspinall, he's confident more British success is only round the corner.

  17. 'Get us to Anfield'published at 21:53 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2022

"Ohhh Paddy the Baddy," chant the crowd as Pimblett jives inside the octagon.

"It wasn't as clean as I liked, but are you not entertained?" Pimblett tells Michael Bisping in the post-fight interview.

"Lad, see this Arena, the O2 - it's too small. Get us to Anfield," he adds.

Pimblett then calls out Ilia Topuria who knocked out Jai Herbert earlier today.

He also had some choice words for Facebook chief Mark Zuckerburg, before singing his support for the 97 victims of the Hillsborough disaster.

    Paddy Pimblett v Kazula Vargas

Pimblett got caught by a strike early in the first round with Vargas taking him down.

He didn't do any significant damage on the mat however, and the pair are now back to their feet against the cage.

Pimblett then lands a takedown of his own!
