    After experiencing the raucous atmosphere at the O2 in March, UFC president Dane White said it "reminded me of what it's like to do fights over in the UK".

    He promised to bring MMA's top promotion back to the UK later this year and he was true to his word as at the end of April, the UFC announced tonight's event had been added to the calendar.

    White has not travelled across the pond for tonight's show though.

    Just to recap, UFC Fight Night 204 saw Tom Aspinall prove his credentials as a heavyweight star with a dominant performance against Alexander Volkov, and Arnold Allen made a statement in the featherweight division by knocking out Dan Hooker.     Elsewhere there were big wins for Paddy Pimblett, Molly McCann, Jack Shore and Mohammad Mokaev, while Paul Craig enjoyed a sensational first-round submission of Nikita Krylov.

    Partly due to the pandemic, UK MMA fans had to wait three years for the UFC to return to British shores in March.

    But just four months after that glorious night at the O2, UFC is back in London, Tom Aspinall is again headlining and fan favourites Paddy Pimblett and Molly McCann have also returned to get the party started.
